Loved affogato served in cups. The taste of the ice cream is very well and it is very well balanced with coffee. Totally recommend! You must taste before leaving Florence ❣️

The best affogato of my life! They also have a cute wine window. Wish I had tried some of the other gelato flavors. If I am back in Florence, I am coming straight here! It was quite busy around 6pm but didn't have to wait.

Lives up to the hype! The gelato is super smooth and creamy, with a nice espresso. We also ordered a mini sandwich which was nicely toasted. There wasn't seating available but drinking at the bar was a lovely experience. Quick service and a nice ambience

Absolutely phenomenal and the best ice cream I've had (and I've had a lot!). Came up as the oldest ice cream place in Florence so I wanted to try but didn't get a chance to until my last evening by accident just before it was about to close. Place was completely empty and I didn't have to wait at all to order. They were super kind and lovely, gave brilliant advice about which flavours go together and what their top recommendations were at the time (e.g. Blueberry in summer). You can get up to three flavours in the medium cup, so I got pistachio, hazelnuts and tiramisu and every single flavour was so delicious. I cannot recommend it enough. The tiramisu tasted better than actual tiramisu at Pompi (a highly recommended tiramisu place). After I chose my flavours, the very kind lady also gave me some of the Blueberry to taste as that was in season and it was to die for. Also, I read that true pistachio ice cream is a dull brown colour and not bright green, I highly agree with that- it was the most pistachio" taste I've ever had and it was a greeny-brown

Welcoming staff and very lovely. The famous affogato is very good and delicious. The sweetness of the gelato and the espresso kick is amazing. Millefoglie is something else as well soooo good. RecommendWent again had the same order but ordered extra rice pudding gelato it was sooooo good to die for!!

Delicious! This place was on many of the blogs I was doing research on. Great gelato, but the affogato was definitely the highlight with the ice cream. Great pricing as well!

The gelato was good, but nothing mind blowing. There is a really diverse range of flavours. I tried the coffee, mango, and the rice ones, the latter being the most interesting.The bite size sandwich was really good however! We both enjoyed them.

Loved the original design of the shop but the gelato was just average. Dark chocolate was delicious, but not the best I’ve had.

Most wonderful ice cream I had. Natural taste and real fruit in the Gelato. Wonderful. The real thing. From 1930.
