I ate two scoops Gelato ice cream, one piece of tiramisu then paid 28€. What an issue is gave me a menu which don’t have price( I wasn’t serious as it thought about be not so different with other restaurants) but two time different with others. But also the server did’t give me right change but also when I clam he having sea down over way and beckoned me come for get change. So poor service but also this cafe make me realize to no only be careful to outside pickpocket.

An incredibly rude staff. The prices for drinks were somewhat reasonable but an americano coffee for 6€ is just ridiculous. Overall, the worst experience we had in Rome throughout the whole trip. Would not recommend to anyone, so many better places in the area. Only giving one star because you cannot give less. Also, no prices on the menu except for the drinks. We were lucky enough to not have eaten there, based on the other reviews.

Chosen spontaneous as a breather. Waiter did not come for ages and was then very unfriendly. Both beers were stale and warm (!). Price 20€… For such a short stay so much negative experienced. We recommend avoiding this place at all costs

This place is litteraly a tourist scam.Just avoid it. It would be better to walk 10-15 more minutes out of Vatican to find a decent place to eat than to stop for a moment here.

Worst place i have been to in Rome. Rude staff, mediocre food at best and ridiculous prices that are way too high. When the bill came the waiter gave me back too little change and walked off. I asked the rude woman that owns the place about this and if I could have my correct change back. She just said 'no'. They not only rip you off with the prices but they actually STEAL from you. Avoid at all costs, I don't understand how they are allowed to operate.

Horrible establishment. The prices are not shown in the menu. We had two salads and a beer and water and the bill ended up at 68 euro. Tips were “voluntary”. We also had to ask multiple times for the bill which took about 15 minutes to come even though it was not full at all. Ask for a medium beer and you will get a large pint. Tourist trap. Avoid this place.

Personally, I didn't have much issue with the place. I ordered some pasta for like 15€ or something that was good. Think they tacked on like 2€ service fee which we thought was alright for what we ordered. Service was a tad slow. I'd give it a 4 star for my personal experience there but after reading these other reviews, it looks as though you might wanna avoid this place.

Nobody tells you the difference in cost to sit down (vs takeaway) is an extortionate amount of money. The excuse is a “service fee”. When confronted about the price, they try to reason that it is because you are in The Vatican City, but this is just a made up excuse. Despite this, you still get mediocre service. Do not support this gross example of an establishment. They are just scammers and thieves.€32 for two coffees and cheesecake.

Real robbery. My son want ice cream. He Walk to the take away servive. Waitress call him back to the table and told him the price is the same. So we sit and have 2 beers and 3 ice creams. 70.20 euro for the order. Mental. All the tourists should be aware of thi. 10.60 service charge. Very bad atmosphere. All tables complain about price.
