I’m sorry to leave this review because I really enjoyed my wedding, but I had so much stress leading up to the wedding because I had very little assistance from this team. I hired Mariella based on positive reviews, and though I hired her for her expertise, I almost never met with her throughout the entire process and only worked with her assistant even when I directly asked to see her. I was originally told pietro (her assistant) would be available for translating, but then I only ever saw Mariella 2-3 times after this despite asking directly for her to attend our meetings.I didn’t receive any direction on what needed to be done and when, despite asking multiple times for guidance, so everything was just done at random with no schedule and I ended up doing nearly everything by myself.Deadlines were missed completely. For example, I asked them to coordinate a wine tour for my guests, and it just never happened. I asked them to put together ideas for welcome bags, and they waited so long I just did them myself. Little details were missed. For example, I ended up paying over $1500 for the welcome bags (including over $200 for ribbon when she quoted $12), so I sent a list highlighting who should get which bag (there were 3 types). At end of the day, they just set them at an unattended table away from my guests, and almost no one saw them or took them. I ended up chasing guests around trying to give them out. I asked several times that they coordinate with my florist to save the flowers for our brunch next day, which would be at the same location. The morning after my wedding, I was running back and forth moving the flowers to brunch myself. It took nearly 45 min, but otherwise they would have just died in the cellar. I met with them several times to coordinate a frame for our bar menu. They never brought any frames, and guests missed the bar menu entirely because it was just on a flat sheet of paper behind the bar where no one could see.They did kindly do my tasting for me, and connected me with a great DJ and sax player, but aside from this I had to do nearly all my planning and budgeting by myself.It sometimes took weeks to get responses or get a meeting scheduled, and they went over budget on many simple projects. I asked them to connect me with a gelato truck, and they gave me one name. The guy charged $1700. I asked if there were other options and they said this was the only person who could do this. I searched on my own and within minutes found someone for half the price.I got very little creative direction, no additional thoughtful details, just not what I thought I was paying for. As we got closer to the wedding I knew it would rain, and I reached out 3 times over 2 weeks to coordinate plan b details. I was shrugged off and then the day before the wedding pietro pulled me away from important moments with my family to coordinate at the last minute.I have seen other weddings planned by this team and honestly it makes me sad because I don’t feel they have my wedding the same attention. My wedding was mid-week and it just feels like maybe they bit off more than they could chew and deprioritized it. Also because they do big events all year, they never had an “off season” during which they could help.I really liked Pietro and Mariella personally and I am sad to leave this review because I know it will burn a bridge, but I want other brides to be aware. I’m sure Mariella and Pietro will say my expectations were too high or my budget was too low. Perhaps there were efforts going on behind the scenes that I wasn’t aware of, but at the end of the day I think the lack of help I received in hiring them was the biggest stressor of my wedding unfortunately.At the end of the day everything did come together for my wedding, but sadly I feel that is because I did the vast majority of the legwork.I would maybe recommend as a coordinator, but if you’re looking to feel stress-free in your planning, I sadly would not recommend. I wish them both all the best and hopefully this will improve for others.

We had the most beautiful and spectacular italian destination wedding in Tuscany and the best day in our lives with the help of Mariella. It would have not been possible for us to make our wedding dream come true without Her.She is a great person with great taste, big heart and a lot of experience and the right connections. No matter what you wish for (and we had a lot of special wishes) mariella will make these come true.She was there for us from day one and helped us along every step of the wedding planning and on the wedding day.We would recommend everybody getting married in Italy to get professional support from Mariella. Merveilleux mariage en Toscane le 21/08/2021, organisé parfaitement par Mariella. Une très grande professionnelle, toujours à l'écoute et capable de proposer des excellents choix dans tous les domaines, DJ, traiteur, fleurs, lumieres etc... C'est bien simple, absolument TOUT était parfait!!!!Wonderful wedding in Tuscany organised perfectly by Mariella. She is a great professional, very serious and competent. She knows her job and you can fully trust in her team. Simply perfect !Thank you again!!!!
