Let's Cook in Umbria

I LOVE RAFFA and Let's Cook in Umbria ~ I have brought groups here for the past three years and its been AMAZING every time. Raffa treats her guests like family and is so accommodating and professional. She varies the menu but always keeps it authentic.Her accommodations look like something out of Italian Home & Country and makes you feel immediately at home. The country chic look of the apartments in her Agriturismo is exactly what you think of when you dream about cooking in an authentic Italian Farm, Winery, Olive producer. It's the real deal.I have so many pictures I have no idea where to begin. Umbrian cooking is rustic and real, we make REAL pasta from scratch, wonderful vegetables, hearty farm favorites and delicious desserts. Umbrians know how to pair their wines with the foods perfectly without overpowering the food, everything compliments each other. We have made the famous Torta al Testo, Lasagne, Gnocchi, stuffed pastas, cacciatores and more ~ the list is endless. You'll want to keep returning to learn more ~ and of course greet Raffa and Francesca!

We had a lovely cooking experience with Rafaella!The classes were hands on, personal, with lots of attention for detail. We followed the 3 day cooking class and it was fun, delicious and we learned so much! Rafaella makes sure that you learn all the details, that you practice all the steps and she answers all your questions.Also the accommodation was great with a nice apartment, great views and near to many beautiful towns to visit.

We had a wonderful experience with Raffaella and her cooking class. Held in her wonderful home in the Umbrian hills just out of Perugia we cooked delicious bread, tartufo pasta, involtini and chocolate and pear cake. She then set a gorgeous table for us to enjoy the food we cooked. Such incredible tasty, yet simple food. I highly recommend Raffaella’s cooking class. She’s such a wonderful teacher and host!

Raffaella is a wonderful host and very effective teacher. She brought us into her farmhouse and taught us how to cook Umbrian dishes with local ingredients. I can’t wait to try it at home. Highly recommend!

Wonderful cooking class in the home of the charismatic and enthusiastic Raffaela. We made the most spectacular 4 course Meal and then ate lunch accompanied with wine from her vineyard. Beautiful home, ceramics and the best ingredients. Great instruction. A wonderful experience.
