B&B A Casa di Anna

Small, private B&B close to the city center. Rooms are clean and have a balcony. Very friendly host Anna takes care of everything and serves a five star breakfast each morning on her terrace with a view over lake como. 100% recommendation.

Nice bed & Breakfast, Anna and her husband are very nice.Breakfast is quiet simple but tasty, made with local products Anna grows in her backyard. Good location for nearby restaurants and ferry for Varenna\Bellagio.

We were with three adults and our little dog, so we booked both rooms at Casa di Anna. Anna warmly welcomed us when we arrived. During our four night stay, we really felt at home with her and her husband Riccardo. They are very kind and helpful.Both rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious, and they both have a small terrace. The rooms can be accessed from a private corridor, so it really feels like you have your own space in the house.We had breakfast both inside and outside, and in both cases, you can enjoy a view on the lake. Breakfast was very good and mainly home made (croissants, bread, cake ...).

Anna was an incredible host, helping with everything big and small. It made our stay so much easier! I highly recommend this place that is a 2 minute walk into the small alleyways of Menaggio. We loved it!

Cozy home with beautiful views of the lake and Menaggio, close enough to be convenient but tucked away to feel quiet and homey.Anna and Riccardo made an amazing breakfast and cappuccino each morning, complete with fresh juice and homemade pastries. The room was spotless and comfortable even on a hot day.

We stayed one night on Anna's B&B at the very end of the season. Is not hard to get there as is located on a main Menaggio street, but just be aware that goggle maps is a bit wrong, sending you to the number 44 instead of 9 (her place is closer to the city than what googlemaps says). Anna and her partner were super kind and attentive on our arrival. The room and the facilities are good and according to our expectation. Even though the street is quite busy, we had no problem sleeping as the house is in the hill lower than where the car passes. The best of our stay was the breakfast! We sat on a table by the window with a lovely view to the lake, the food was superb with all kinds of breads, croissants, home made marmalades and a very good selections of cheeses and Italian ham cuts. Anna's partner who works in the catering business made us feel as if we where on a top 5 star hotel. We can really recommend a stay in A Casa di Anna! make sure you give yourself enough time for the breakfast.

We had an amazing stay here. We are two adults and three small children (ages 8, 6, and 3). Anna helped us from the very first email I sent. She is hospitable and kind. The set up of the two rooms were great for our family. The location is so nice because you have a beautiful view of the lake and a 5-10 minute walk to the center where there are restaurants, ice cream, pharmacy, boat rentals and all. The breakfast each morning was excellent with a variety of choices she provides. The fresh tomatoes from her garden, meats, cheeses, and more. I highly recommend at stay here! We hope to return!

I cannot recommend this b&b enough, Anna and Riccardo are friendly and attentive hosts who would go above and beyond to accommodate you.There are two rooms - the blue room and the “woody” room. The main difference is that the blue room has an ensuite bathroom inside the bedroom while the “woody” room has a private just outside the bedroom door, so no need to share bathrooms. The rooms are also pretty big and spacious.Despite not having aircon and visiting in the heat of summer, the rooms are cool and breezy. The bed was comfortable and the rooms are cleaned every day.The best part of the stay in my opinion is breakfast, Anna and Riccardo would prepare a spread as good as, if not better than any expensive hotel. The food was fresh and had great variety. We were given fresh organic tomatoes from their garden everyday and it was amazing. On top of that, the breakfast view from their front porch was the best. You could see Lake Como and the mountains from there.Would definitely stay here again if I came back to Lake Como.

Anna is a fabulous host. Her breakfast illustrates how attentive she is with guests. We stayed here for two days with me having a diet restriction of being vegan, she accommodated it very well and remembered our preferred drink preference in the morning. Everything is clean and up to date in the house. It’s cozy and very private in your own room. I wish we could stay longer it was so nice.

Good location and super friendly hosts. Great breakfast. Affordable pricing. Nice garden. Room looked a bit dated. Furniture is a little old with mixed styles but functional. Bathroom was not ensuite but just 2 meters away from our room‘s door. Hosts allowed us to park our car right in front. We really appreciated this as parking is limited and the area hilly. During the stay, a car is not really necessary. Everything is reachable by foot, such as restaurants, cafes, supermarket and ferry station.
