They should get Michelin star. Very, very nice and experienced stuff. We felt like VIP the whole time. We visited them twice. I love that they have only Slowenian wines what makes this place even better. Food very good. Prices are very good if you compare what you will receive.

Did not stay in the hotel but went to the restaurant. Food was amazing and reasonably priced. We got the burrata, a pasta, and the trout to split between two. Very lovely meal.

This is a review of the restaurant, which was a great disappointment. We found it pretentious and wannabe fancy, but the dining experience and the food itself was a huge let down for us. There are no vegetarian options at all except for a salad, the soup was served to us without spoons and by the time the spoons arrived, the soup was mostly cold, the main course chicken was poorly prepared and tasted underdone and the pavlova for dessert was simply tragic and should not sully the good name of pavlova - a great dessert in general, which was clearly and hugely misunderstood by the chef at Pino Alpino. Not sure what the rave reviews are all about.

This might be a good hotel, but the restaurant is pretty bad. We picked it based on the reviews without realizing that they were for the hotel. Our second mistake was to order the Slovenian menu. The fish was OK but both the starter and the desert were absolutely terrible. The children’s menu was disappointing, too. The surroundings were nice and the service relatively friendly. However, the food was definitely not worth the price, and this place gets the dubious honor of being the worst restaurant we’ve encountered so far in Slovenia.

A very good restaurant. The food was delicious, one of the best we ever had. Also the wines really paired well with the courses.Also the waiter was great, he really could tell us everything about the food and the wines.

Nothing but love for this wine bar! Amazing wines and even better service, fell a little bit in love with the lovely and funny waiter! Would definitely recommend and come back! Haven't seen the rooms but if it's anything like the bar it will be amazing too!

As a restaurant I would not recommend this place, even though the wine collection is great and the kitchen is good quality.I think this place wants to be a fine dining (concept, pricing aspect) place, however the the kitchen is not as good (good quality bistro level), the staff not very communicative. The here is our biggest problem, the waiter, we did not ordered anything but they started preparing our 4-dishes menu, at the end we had to pay for the menu which we did not ordered. When we mentioned this the waiter was offended.

PinoAlpino.Abbiamo scelto questo ristorante dopo un'oculata ed attenta ricerca.Il locale è molto accogliente e signorile, il personale gentile e competente.I piatti che abbiamo scelto hanno soddisfatto le aspettative.Nello specifico abbiamo preso una tartare di manzo e la guancia di vitello.Due piatti ben presentati, quantità giusta e prezzo idoneo.Le note negative, motivo per cui la recensione è da tre stelle, sono state la zuppa poco saporita ed i calici" di vino

The restaurant was recommended to us. We had the four course menu which was exceptional. The service was very good. I am bilingual and the waiter switched languages effortlessly to explain the food to both my husband and I. The whole atmosphere was vibrant. Both the Austrian and French visitors who were dining at the same time enjoyed themselves very much. We were offered a digestif on the house which we enjoyed very much. All in all a superb evening!
