Monti Fitness

Great, no frills gym. Was in Rome for a few days and unfortunately, the hotel did not have any workout equipment. I am so glad that I found Monti Fitness. I Purchased a pass good for three visits, which was perfect.

La Palestra con la P maiuscola al Centro. Storica, vera, sincera, pulita. Accoglienza ottima, professionale, famigliare. Istruttori e istruttrici di altissimo livello. Costi onesti. Sono molto felice di averla scoperta! Consigliatissima.

Awesome little gym to use during vacation. Day passes available. Staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Even gave some great recommendations on food. It’s a smaller gym, but definitely gets the job done. Will definitely use again when we return to Rome.

Ottima palestra fornita degli attrezzi necessari. Sala anche per il pugilato. Staff preparato e simpatico, ambiente molto accogliente. Consigliata!

Very old blue collar gym. No A/C and little airflow at all so avoid on hot days. A small fan couldn’t keep up. The tiny ceiling fan was broken. Dusty, musty, and dirty with lots of cracked vinyl benches. Lots of small and medium sized lockers with keys for your valuables. Drink machine. Big changing room with one shower. If you can find a better gym for the 20 euros it cost for a day pass, go there. I can’t imagine this place when it’s busy. Closed all of August. Worth it on a cool day if you’re jonesing for a workout like I was.

Best gym in Rome! Not too fancy, which is exactly what I like. Mario is great and very helpful, and they have cool t-shirts for sale! Grazie Mille

The owners and staff were so wonderful and welcoming! Very nice gym with lots of options and everything you need to get a good workout in.

Palestra senza fronzoli ma strutturata benissimo nel cuore del quartiere Monti. Il personale è gentilissimo, accogliente e competente. La sala attrezzi non è grande ma c'è tutto quello di cui c'è bisogno.Clima amichevole che mette subito a proprio agio con utenza di un certo livello culturale ( cosa, a mio avviso ,non meno importante). spogliatoi ineccepibili . Spero di ritornare presto .grazie ragazzi !

The facility is good for weight training, but the cardio equipment is questionable. One of the treadmills has a little slip to it and should have maintenance. The stationary bikes have very little resistance even at the highest difficulty setting. It cost 20 euros for a day pass, but after paying, she then says I need a towel because “it’s the rule”. This was an additional 7 euros, and I had no issue with purchasing one. However, I noticed that I was the only one in the gym using a towel. There were even two other Americans (Caucasian females) without a towel. I am a 45 year old Asian male, and I have never had problems of this nature with businesses in the past. Thus, I can’t help but feel either taken advantage of or somewhat discriminated. This rule should apply to everyone. There was another worker there, an older gentleman, and he was very friendly and accommodating. I visited this gym on June 20, 2023 around 5:00 p.m.
