SCAM! we bought a book for 15 euros that the worker there promoted, it was literally Google translated, it has a weird map that didn't have much info about the site. There is also a QR code for a 2 hours movie with password that you can watch if you buy a book and guess what - IT DOES NOT EXIST... Oh, and also their toilet is a disaster, it was dirty, there wasn't a seat, toilet paper, nor soap, DISASTER

A employee from this iTourist Office crossed the road and approached my family as we were approaching the entrance to Pompeii archaeological park. She said the Pompeii site only has tickets via machine and no tourist information at all and that she worked at the official tourist information office (that was this i tourist office). She then tried to sell me a book with a free map for £16 euros which she then dropped to 10 Euros, while insisting there were no free maps in the park. It had already become obvious this was a scam when we entered the shop.Just ignore these people and go to the REAL official site and get a free map on entry and visit the REAL souvenir shop. The Real Pompeii staff were aware of this behaviour and so must the Pompeii City authorities.....Which makes you wonder why this i Tourist office is allowed to operate.

If Google Maps had the capability, I would have given negative scores to this place. This office consists of a team of people who are worse than scammers! The day we reached Pompei, we wanted to visit Vesuvius and we're not able to figure out where to take the tickets and bus from. We spotted this tourist office and made the worst mistake in the entire trip by entering this place. The staff ( an Italian lady) literally ill-treated us when we were trying to discuss whether or not to purchase the tickets right away or to buy it from online for the next day. She wouldn't listen to us when we were trying to explain our itinerary to her. Instead she was yelling at us and spoke in a very harsh tone. Is this the way to treat tourists visiting your own country??? She is the person who ruined the impression we have on Italians and their hospitality.. it's a shame! DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANY KIND OF INFORMATION. THEY ARE A BIG SCAM AND MISTREAT YOU FOR NO REASON AT ALL!!!! You can find much better information and help from online or the street vendors selling souvenirs, food, etc.

Fantastic day 6 of us went on a tour of the coast. Great price. Picked up from our house at exactly 9 am and dropped off at exactly 6pm. Tour guide took amazing photos is our group. And was understanding when we got lost and were slightly late coming back. We went on March 19th and took deluxe Almalfi coast tour.

Literally the most horrid abusive pieces of s*** in tourist hystory. I arrived at Pompei city train station and was rushed as cattle into their shady tourist stand. I had no idea about this place and just went along with a couple of other people. There was a very rude abusive guide who explained to us that we MUST buy the audio guide with map of the ruins for 8eur or 16eur(can't remember) because you will need 3 days to see everything and you will get lost if you don't buy. I didn't want to do that and he literally started guilt tripping me and making fun of me that I wanted to go explore alone. He literally questioned my capabilities and intelligence.I refused any discussion further and exited that pathetic dump.Later during the walk to the Pompei entrance another worker from the same tourist agency shouted very aggressively at me and other 2 people that we don't know what we are doing trying to lead us from the entrance and blocking our way.Literally psychopaths. Stay away from them as far as you can!!!There shoud be somewhere where they can be reported for harassment!

Dear fellow travelers and concerned individuals,I feel compelled to share my recent harrowing experience with around vesuvio that goes through i tourist office that demonstrated a shocking lack of integrity and respect for its customers. It is my sincere hope that by shedding light on this incident, I can protect others from falling victim to the same deceitful tactics employed by this unscrupulous company.During a recent tour, I, like many others, was excited to explore the sights and immerse myself in the local culture. However, what was meant to be an enjoyable and enriching experience turned into a nightmarish encounter with a surprise drink tasting scam orchestrated by the very company entrusted with our tourism needs. We were corralled into a wine tasting that quickly revealed itself to be nothing more than an elaborate sales pitch. The tour guide, who was supposed to be our trusted source of information, shamelessly manipulated and pressured us into purchasing overpriced bottles of wine, completely disregarding the true essence of a genuine drink tasting experience. The insidious nature of this surprise wine tasting scam is deeply troubling. As paying customers, we rightfully expect honesty, transparency, and the opportunity to make informed choices. Instead, we were thrust into an environment where profit maximization took precedence over our time, trust, and overall satisfaction. To make matters worse, the excessive time wasted at the wine tasting resulted in some of us missing important connections, such as trains or flights. The company's complete disregard for our schedules and commitments is an egregious breach of trust and showcases a shocking lack of professionalism. It is crucial that we collectively hold companies accountable for their actions. By sharing my story, I aim to raise awareness and caution fellow travelers against falling prey to such deceitful practices. We must demand honesty, transparency, and respect from the companies we entrust with our travel. To Around vesuvio (i tourist office) this shameful surprise drink tasting scam, I urge you to reflect upon your actions and the consequences they have on unsuspecting tourists. Your deceptive practices not only tarnish your own reputation but also cast a dark shadow over the tourism industry as a whole.Sincerely,Kai

Be aware, these guys are real SCAMMERS, stay away. They get your attention with a lie telling you that the entrance for Pompei is not the one on the other side of the road. They'll try to sell you a guide of Pompei for 16Eur with very poor information on it and also advertising (yes, you pay the guide to then get advertising). They will try to sell you a tour of Vesuvio for 20Euros just for the transport when on the other side of the street there is a public transport bus which will take you there for a couple of euros. What is worse is that after 10 minutes from my purchase I told them I have changed my mind on it realizing I had been scammed and the middle age man I was trying to explain the situation to started becoming aggressive with me so I just dropped the conversation. It is a real pity these kind of liars take advantage of the beauty of Italy this way. JUST STAY AWAY.

Do not get scammed as we were! Don't trust them. We were just about to enter the Pompeii and a guy said that the enterance is in a different way. He pointed us to this office. They started forcing us to buy guide and map. They even claimed that you cannot get a map for free and that we should buy their map which can be only bought together with a guide book for 16€. We were hesitant about a purchase and at the end they sell us for us for 10€ because we didn't want to buy it for original price. And then when we asked where is the entrance they pointed us to the same location where we were at the beginning (when a guy told us that this is not the entrance). Furthermore, when we come to the official entrance we got a map for free... so don't get scammed as we were..
