There is absolutely no way to explain how much I love Dr. Batalocco--and he's a dentist! That just about says it all. I have a major major fear of dentists and so have put off medical care for too long. He came recommended by Dr. Benci (another awesome Doctor) and the minute I met him, he put me at ease. .He assured me we would not do anything I was uncomfortable with and that he would use any means of sedation necessary--although he refused my brilliant idea of just doing a ketamine dart like they use in zoos ;-) Then, without charging me a penny, he did x-rays, examined my teeth, did a basic cleaning and wrote up a plan that included both necessary and cosmetic work.And this is where his brilliance and creativity came in. I did not want anything that looked fake or required major maintenance or would make me sound like my words are slurred, and he assured me what we were doing would be minimal and could be removed at any time if I did not like it. Then, he went one step further and did a mock up using my real teeth and my mouth to show me in real time what the end result would look like.The whole time I was in his care he treated me with respect and kindness and even let me squeeze his knee when I was afraid and he was giving me some novocaine. His prices are completely reasonable and very low compared to the United States--and for far better treatment and solutions. He never pawns you off to his assistants or some other doctor--he is always the one who takes care of you.And now not only do I love my teeth but they are healthier than ever. A chronic problem I have had--major gum sensitivity--is almost gone because of his treatment. He is flexible when I want or need something done differently and he really listens.I still don't love going to the dentist but at least I love my dentist ;-)
