Anima Toscana Bike Tours
My partner (71) and I asked Michele at Anima Toscana to plan a 4 night, 3 day e-bike tour in Tuscany for us. Our self guided tour included Siena to Montalcino, Montalcino to Pienza, Pienza back to Siena. We travelled 3rd week of May in 20 degree temps on country roads with little traffic. Routes were well designed, hotels included breakfasts and were centrally located with exceptional views. Focus e-bikes were efficient. We opted for a set of saddle bags, followed routes using iPhone and Komoot App with .gpx tracks. Bikes handled the climbs with ease, most routes were 50-60Kms per day.I highly recommend Anima Toscana over any other tour company for day or self guided trips in Tuscany. Our bags were waiting for us in each hotel and Michele was just a txt message away if needed. 5 Stars! Excellent Restaurant Recommendations also were provided by the tour operator.

Anima Toscana Bike Tours
I cannot recommend Michele and Anima Toscana enough. We had an absolutely perfect day touring the Chianti region of Tuscany. Michele gave me a carbon gravel bike with electronic shifters (great bike) to use and my wife was on an electric mountain bike. Michele was flexible and tailored the day so well for our abilities and interests. There is no better way to see the Tuscan country side than on bike, and Anima Toscana is an amazing outfitter to do it with.

Anima Toscana Bike Tours
We booked the 6 day Tuscany self guided tour and had a blast! Michael and Mara were amazing. The gravel bikes were great and my partner switched to an ebike - which they made available very easily. The route itself was incredible. The hotels were great. It was hot - mid June - so definitely would recommend going earlier or later but still it was a blast.

Great to deal with, these guys sorted a road bike for me to hire over three weeks and I've loved it. They made sure the bike was set up correctly, provided everything including the correct pedals and gave me an excellent rate. The riding around Siena is fantastic too. Thanks Mara and team

Both of us had perfect ride with two high quality Focus e-bikes. The route suggested by Anima Toscana Bike Tours was great including according our wishes some quiet roads but also some very best vine estates of the area. We had a great lunch during our ride and were totally satisfied. We are experienced travellers and the day organized by Anima goes to our all time top 10 list of best experiences while travelling!!!

We did a 5 day unguided tour. It was excellent. Michele provided a printed and online GPX route. The bikes were in great condition. We stayed in great hotels. The daily step by step itinerary by km told us where to see villages, have meals and vineyards to visit. I highly recommend this company.

I booked bike hire thanks to a useful website and responsive service. From there, Michele was very friendly and helpful and even rescued us when we had a mechanical 10km outside of Siena. The bikes were great and the scenery south and west of Siena is simply stunning!

I can’t say how good Michele is at his job. Everything was on point. We’re mid-30s couple from Canada and Michele designed a 3 day tour for us, transferred our bags for us each day, and rented us quality bikes. The bikes were brand new. The accommodations were everything we needed, the Italian breakfasts included at each place were great and included coffee, juice, croissants, scrambled eggs, jams, cakes, everything. Every hotel knew exactly what was up, had a place for the bikes, knew Anima Toscana. Just completely seamless at every turn.Highly highly recommend. I’ll be looking to come back.

We rented 2 Gravelbikes for 3 days. Communication was nice and easy, delivery and pick up worked perfect and the bikes were great, too :) We had a great time exploring the surroundings of Siena, especially the Strade Bianche sections. Highly recommended :)
