I'll be honest, I've never been a fan of the dentist, so when I needed one urgently in Palermo I was more than a little apprehensive. I needn't have been. Dott. Ciaccio is not only a superlative dentist - kind, caring, and excellent at his work - but he also treats his patients in an holistic way; seeing dental problems as a body problem, not just a tooth problem. While traveling through Sicily, I've got a growing tooth pain. It turned out to be nasty little cavity, hardly noticeable via visual examination. Doctor did and x-ray and fixed my tooth in a caring and attentive manner.If you need an English-speaking dentist in Palermo, look no further. The price for the filling was the same as I'd pay at home, so I consider it a good deal. I didn't wait for the appointment too long either.

Dr Dott Orazio is an English speaking doctor and best of all an ethical dentist who doesn't overcharge his patient. I broke my tooth while holiday in Italy but thankful to have found Dr Dott who is attentive and gentle during the session.

He replied within a couple of hours and got me an appointment the mext day, even though he was not supposed to work. He spoke English well, and was incredibly competent and friendly.
