Food and service were perfection. Everything was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was also beautiful, but ungodly hot so if you can’t stand the heat, pick a different place.

Had reservations for lunch, although we didn’t need one. Was a hot day and we were seated by the fan. Tony, the maitre d’, was very friendly, helpful and engaging. He made our lunch very enjoyable and memorable. Greeted with champagne and small appetizer.

In short I don't think it is worth the hype. Maybe we were unlucky, but especially considering the price (even against Sorrento standards) I don't think it's worth it. I was surprised to see a few low ratings but it seems we are one of them.First off we were seated outside, not under the lemon trees, even after booking weeks in advance. If this is what you are looking for be careful.Service was sometimes slow, clunky and unprofessional in some cases. The waiter was making lots of jokes, fine, but when he told my girlfriend to take it easy on the bread otherwise she wouldn't be hungry for dessert, I thought that was rude.Food overall was average. We went for the four course 'deal' as it was better value. That said, portions were quite small. Maybe because we had gone for the deal, it certainly seemed different to other tables.Starters were fine but the pasta dish was poor. Mine was bland but worse was the crunchy pasta my girlfriend had. We enjoy 'al dente' but this was undercooked. We mentioned this and we were told by the manager that this was strange as it is one of their master dishes - we must have been wrong... The rest of the meal was fine, I enjoyed my lemon cream dessert. The FOC petit fours were also ok.Overall I think there are much better options in Sorrento especially given the prices. €30+ for a main course I think is steep, maybe more palatable if everything else had been on point.

We turned up without a reservation and lucky got a seat outside. Inside looks very pretty. The food here is excellent, and the service is impressive. We loved everything we ordered and felt that we needed to come back to sample the delights we didn’t get to order. Can highly recommend.

L'Antica Trattoria 1930
We had a lovely meal at L’Antica Trattoria! One of our favourite restaurants in Sorrento. Our waiter was amazing and the ambience in the place was lovely - there was a man playing guitar and singing songs!We got the red prawns for starter, followed by a stunning pasta dish, the sea bass rolls and turbot. Everything was delicious!

Went twice in two days. Delicious food with a la carte and tasting options. A bit more expensive than other places in the area but worth the upgrade. It’s a bit more modern than surrounding restaurants as well which makes it a good break from the traditional Italian cuisine we had for most of our trips. Our favorites were all the pastas we tried, the veal, the turbot, and the calamari. At time of writing €85 to pick a four course meal from a la carte menu and €120 for full tasting menu. A la carte orders are larger than tasting menu.

Cinque stelle sono il minimo per un locale che solo alla vista incanta e rilassa. Un personale cordiale ed esperto vi accompagna nel viaggio di un pasto unico: sapori incantevoli vengono presentati in piatti decorati come fossero quadri. Il ristorante sembra un museo e il proprietario è un uomo a modo e squisito, che offre con naturalezza il massimo ed è sempre attento alle esigenze del cliente.

Amazing, central, yet secluded place. Here you can rest in the shadow of trees and plants. Great service, pleasant atmosphere and really good food. Prices are high so I would expect a bit bigger portions. We had two starters, pastas and desserts and still we went out without being really full. That's why I would rather recommend this place for special occasions.

Impeccable food and superb ambiance. Every dish we tried was perfect. Amazing friendly staff and great hospitality. Waited for us and were very patient despite arriving more than half an hour after our appointment as we got lost. Highly recommended if you’re in Sorrento.
