The foundation of this former church is ancient and still unknown. It was rebuilt in the Gothic period and mentioned for the first time in 1145 as property of the canons of the Cathedral.The church underwent several changes during the past centuries including the annexation to Broletto Palace in 2001 after decades of neglect.The space inside has been turned into a conference room and what remains of the church is the beautiful brick façade, numerous frescoes of the 15th century on the upper floor and two Gothic arches in the south hall.
