ICS Italy Chauffeur Service

Before we decided to go with ICS, I read some reviews on Tripadvisor and sent some messages to several users who posted those reviews in regards to ICS Italy Chauffeur Service, which was highly recommended by all users that I sent message to. So, I contacted ICS to arrange for a day trip from Florence to Siena, San Gimignano and Castello di Monteriggioni. I did have to provide my credit card info in a PDF file and sent the filled out form over to them. I was initially a bit concerned about sending my credit card info in a pdf but it worked out fine.Paolo was our driver who picked us up on time (actually ahead of time) at our hotel. He was very nice, friendly, respectful and kind to us, especially to my mother. He even stopped at various locations and let us take pictures on the way to Tuscany. Big thank to Paolo!My mother and I are both really happy with ICS Italy Chauffeur Service, from the initial contact to the new Mercedes E-class sedan, which was very comfy.

Service was punctual and very professional. Have used this company in the past and they have not changed. Would recommend ICS to anyone who wants friendly hassle free limo service.

Our group of four decided to finish our recent tour of northern Italy with a day trip to Ravenna from Venice, the last stop on our tour. The magnificent mosaics in Ravenna, particularly those of the architecturally significant Basilica of San Vitale, have been a “bucket list” destination of mine for many years.A quick Internet search brought us to Italy Chauffeur Service (ICS), and we could not have been more pleased with our choice. Communication with ICS was easy—a prompt response to our initial inquiry and very accommodating interactions thereafter gave us the confidence to book the tour with a company we had not dealt with before. We committed to our tour (driver, van and guide in Ravenna) several months in advance with the understanding that my credit card would not be charged until one month before the day of service. As the day of our tour approached, ICS sent a map with precise instructions on where to meet our driver, along with contact information and other instructions.On the day of the tour, an excellent driver, Maurizio, was waiting for us at the meeting point, a few steps from the water taxi dock in Piazzale Roma, and Roberta, an extremely knowledgeable and personable guide, met us when we arrived in Ravenna. Our tour included the Basilicas of San Vitale and Sant’Apollinare Nuova, the tomb of Galla Placidia—all with spectacular mosaic decoration—and a walking tour of central Ravenna, including Dante’s tomb and a modern mosaic arts workshop. We also had time for lunch at an excellent local restaurant, and we were back in Venice in time for an evening commitment. The pace of our tour was just right for our group. Although we were not able to visit every important site in Ravenna, those we did visit were experienced well and thoroughly.A one-day trip from Venice to Ravenna and back makes for a long day, but Ravenna is a not-to-be-missed experience for anyone interested in the art and history of Italy and the Roman Empire in Late Antiquity. Ravenna seems to be off the beaten path for most tour companies, which is unfortunate considering its charm and historical significance. I regret that we were unable to spend more time there—there is so much more to see--but ICS made it possible for us to pack a lot into the time we had available. I recommend ICS without reservation, with special kudos to Roberta, whose love for her home city is infectious.

We used them for transport to our accommodation in rural Bologna. Communication was efficient and reliable with a short turnaround even after many flight changes due to delays, etc. Highly recommend!

We used ICS to take us from Naples station to Amalfi/Atrani and then back 3 days later. In both cases it was a very smooth operation. The driver was there to meet the train and was happy to stop on the way so that we could get some great photos of the scenery. The Amalfi roads and narrow and winding with many blind corners. In both cases the driver knew the road and we felt completely safe.

I contracted with ICS and dealt with Gina Formosa for car and driver service in Italy earlier this month. We used them in Venice, Genoa, Montarosa, Como, Parma, Florence and Rome. This was a complicated trip with six people and much baggage. The drivers were always on time, polite and helpful. The vehicles were all newish Mercedes, vans and cars and were impeccable. Water was always offered. Their service was flawless!Also Gina answered her phone at all hours and we were able to make changes as necessary due to flight schedules etc. She is a huge asset!I highly recommend ICS.

I used ICS for six different trips all around Italy, the longest being 6+ hours from Amalfi to Florence. With every trip, the driver was prompt (early actually) and was ready for the journey. Some drivers were more fluent than others in English, however, every driver knew enough to communicate what was necessary. I found the cost of the car trips to be comparable to other car companies too. I am very impressed with the service received by this company, and would highly recommend them!

Our experience using ICS for our recent 3 day trip in Italy went above and beyond our expectations.Simone, our driver, was punctual, professional, and accommodating of our adapting schedule.Every person in our 7 member group felt completely safe whether on the AutoStrada, a cliff hugging mountain road, or a tight narrow city street.The quality of service shown by Simone, made the travel logistics normally encountered on a complex schedule, all disappear.Every connection from city to city was effortless.Thank you for such a positive experience on this trip.It is our intention, to use your services in Italy again as needed.

My family of 5 (including a 2-1/2 yr old) used their service from 10/2-10/16/19 ranged from pick up/drop off at airports, train stations, sights. Used them for such service as half day, all day & everything in-between Rome, Siena, Chianti, Tuscany/Florence.etc. They have done an excellent job in making sure no glitches...which made for a hassle-free time. A child car seat provided and all the drivers were prompt. I highly recommend this service company - it's not cheap...but you get what you pay for. Peace of mind is what you want when traveling. If I could give 6 stars I would! This group is attentive, communicative, professional and very comparable with pricing to other groups.We used them for airport transfer, wine tasting day and transport through Tuscany and a last minute add on for a day driving around Tuscany to the smaller towns.With the last minute request (over a busy weekend) we need to vans to accommodate 10 of us and they answered my email very quickly and found two drivers for us. Well done!The drivers were all fabulous, were able to offer suggestions and so helpful even assisting with all our wine bottles/ goodies to our airbnb door after our wine tasting day.I will definitely refer to friends and use them again when I am in Italy next!Cheers!Tammy
