Il Salotto di Firenze

I stayed here for my last two nights in Italy and it was perfect! Really nice bedroom and bathroom, A/C, free coffee and tea, secure, and friendly and accommodating staff. Was very grateful that I was able to pay the tourist tax with my card rather than having to exchange for such a small amount.

As advertised online we were expecting air conditioning and had booked the room for 4 nights. When we got to the room the air conditioning was not working. After trying multiple different settings and methods including speaking with the manager we were left without AC for 2 nights (causing the room to be 26 degrees Celsius or 78 degrees Fahrenheit). This left us no choice but to keep the windows open all night. These windows did not have screens so we were constantly waking up in the middle of the night due to getting bitten as well as enduring the loud noises in the street. We woke up each morning not getting much sleep with a lot of bug bites causing us to eventually go to the pharmacy to get medication to alleviate the itch and pain. We then asked for a partial refund due to not receiving the advertised services. After speaking with the manager on multiple occasions it was clear that he didn’t care and had no intentions of mitigating the situation showing us the lack of care and hospitality. Based on the disrespectful messages received from manager we are very disappointed and we will definitely not be coming back. A side note for any coffee drinkers, the coffee from the machine in the kitchen is disgusting and not drinkable.

La camera pur essendo in un edificio vecchiotto si presenta molto bene anche se affacciata su strada trafficata da molti turisti; l'accesso alla struttura avviene mediante codici personali perché sprovvista di guardiania. Il personale della struttura é gentile e professionale.

Esperienza molto positiva. Pieno centro, in 5 min a piedi si arriva a tutti i punti di interesse principali a Firenze. Ubicato al 1.piano si compone di 5 stanze doppie e un'area comune con cucina e macchina del caffé a disposizione dei clienti. Spazi ampi con soffitti alti tipici dei palazzi di una volta, bagno adeguato e completo di tutto, letto un po' duro ma confortevole, pulizia giornaliera buona! Unico neo la scarsa insonorizzazione dei serramenti (porte e finestre) e la concomitante vivacità del popolo della notte"

Meravigliosa esperienza! Location in centro Firenze (Duomo). Vi accoglieranno Francesca e Alessandro. Le camere (spaziose) finemente arredate, con gusto e classe. Che dire: Cinque Stelle ampiamente meritate. With Compliments!

Best place we stayed in our whole 3 week trip! Perfectly located, best service and super comfy room. Couldn’t have picked a better place to stay in Florence. Highly recommend.

Soggiornare al salotto di Firenze è stato a dir poco stupendo. La camera e il bagno sono stupendi, confortevoli e pulitissimi, i proprietari Alessandro e Francesca sono davvero fantastici. In più il B&B si trova in centro, posto strategico per più destinazioni. Stra- consigliato.

I just couldn’t imagine the better option because this place was definitely perfect! Alessandro is very polite and attentive host and he made our Florence experience very smooth. The guest house is made with the great attention to details, so I’d say it’s really better than a stay in a chain or even independent hotel. The location is literally unbelievable, it’s in a heart of this beautiful city of Florence, however it’s quiet and safe place as well. I’d mention that the room was rather spacious and everything was clean and neat too.

Loved Firenze, lots of places to see and enjoy. The apartment is right in the centre of everything, and only a short walk from the train station.I'd definitely choose to stay here again.
