Venice Experts

Silvia was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and fun! She provided a fantastic walking food tour for us in Venice. Additionally, she provided historical and local stories about businesses and buildings. She is a local, so she guided us to places where she and her friends go! Such a treat! Her years of experience and her great personality provided us with a most memorable tour!

Meeting Sil was special. Walking with her through Venetian's Venice was a treat and made our time magical and spectacular. Her knowledge of the art, history, tradition and culture of Venice is expansive and her personality is vibrant and outgoing. She was a pleasure to be with. She took us to her favorite pasticceria where the smells of the pastries and coffee were amazing. A walk through the Rialto Market, learning about the history and the different vendors and then eating the amazing fruit was wonderful. We had tramezzini (I read all the Commissario Brunetti novels) and cichetti, one place established in 1642. We did go to one tourist site - the Basilica and the Doge's Palace in St Mark's Square. But with 'skip the line tickets' and Sil as our guide we were able to take in the full majesty of the buildings and learn about the history of Venetian Government. The last afternoon, Sil arranged a motor boat ride along the Grand Canal which was a wonderful end to our trip. Venice is always special, but with Sil it was beyond fun and memorable.
