We booked a villa in Santa' Agata on the Amalfi Coast with Alessandra and had the best experience. She was so helpful and responsive prior to our trip. We had no surprises and the pictures were completely accurate. It was a pleasure working with her and Tiziana, our host and liaison. I would highly recommend Ville in Italia!

We visited Villa Fontesante in Florence, the Villa was lovely however, we were charged a huge amount for internet usage by the owner where the internet is usually offered for free or is part of the rental. Please be aware of the owner adding extra costs

We booked through Massimiliano with Ville in Italia agency and we’re mislead that the Villa Giurlani, in the Lucca area of Tuscany was going to have updated bathroom facilities for all bathrooms that were all dated and inconvenient. It was stated on the actual Villa listing page that the bathroom upgrades would be completed by the Villa owner before the summer 2022 season. I was also assured by email before paying the deposit by the Ville in Italia rental agent, Massimiliano, that he would also have access to new and updated photos of these improvements once they were completed. When I later inquired if he had received the photos of the updates I was informed that the proprietor had been very busy with the start of the summer tourist season so wasn’t able to get the photos yet. He, however, assured me that he confirmed with the owner that the bathroom upgrades had been completed on all the bathrooms. Not one bathroom had been upgraded. When we enquired about this misleading information from the proprietor we were informed that she had never agreed to do such upgrades for that season. When I mentioned to the listing agent that his Villa webpage even indicated that such shower installations were going to be completed before the tourist season he denied it. He later informed me that he had edited the page to remove the misleading info for future prospects. However, we had already been mislead and dishonestly reassured that the upgrades had been done. It was something that was specifically requested by us and our group was boldly mislead repeatedly by the listing agents. Both the proprietor and the listing agent were pointing fingers at each other. Unprofessional behaviour on both parts. I wouldn’t recommend this Villa or the listing agency. Run down Villa with passed glory days, untrustworthy service from listing agency.
