San Michele Suite

We stayed here for two nights in peak season and we could not fault anything! The location is fantastic, we stayed in the sea view suite overlooking the beach, it was beautiful, modern and very clean. The breakfast on the terrace was excellent. The staff were very nice and extremely helpful in organising the beach club and transport from the airport and to our next place of stay (especially as we don’t speak any Italian). The restaurant recommendations were also very nice. Would highly recommend a stay in this lovely place.

We enjoyed the fabulous views from our terrace. The room easily accommodated our family of four (two adults, two teenagers). The hotel was extremely responsive as we planned our trip to Polignano and gave us great recommendations for places to eat. The front desk advised us to avoid eating at Grotta Palazzese. We should have heeded their warning. Avoid at all costs! They also arranged a wonderful day for us at a nearby beach club. The beach in Polignano is a zoo. The town itself was quite crowded. But there is a strong local vibe to the town even though there are lots of tourists. The hotel is in the heart of everything. Our only complaint was that the a/c wasn't strong; however, that seems to be a problem throughout Italy.

This is one of the nicest hotel experiences I’ve ever had and I’ll definitely be staying here again when I visit Polignano again.Firstly, the location is absolutely incredible! The sea view suite is worth the extra money. But even more importantly the staff here make you feel like part of the family! I honestly felt like I was at home and didn’t want to leave.If your arriving by car, the personal shuttle service to the hotel is very easy and staying in the old town overlooking Polignano beach definitely transforms your holiday into an incredible experience!Breakfast is delicious and everything is made fresh. And you can also wind down for the day on the rooftop with sunset drinks.I have travelled all over the world but I will remember this holiday for the rest of my life as one of the best! Everything is taken care of so you can completely relax!Thank you! Grazie!

I ended up extending my stay much longer than expected because I’ve never received such amazing hospitality. Valentina - the receptionist is the friendliest host and goes above and beyond her duties - checking in if I had dinner, ordering and suggesting deliveries when I feel to tired to go out and giving me such good advice about the surrounding towns as well as catering to my every whim. The rooms are well decorated located in the perfect location, housekeeping did an excellent job and even collected the items I forgot during check out for me. Not to mention the view on the rooftop, which I’ve heard from many locals is the best in town. I’ve been living out of hotels for more than a year now and I’ve never experienced such impeccable service. This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at and I can’t wait to go back!

This boutique hotel matches its high ratings. It is first class and service friendly. We were delighted from the moment we arrived, with the room exceeding our expectations. However, special mention to the staff, Valentina, Marika and Maria. Their genuine care and desire to go the extra step was the difference and I would highly endorse their service levels and readily recommend this hotel. Perfect for couples. Views are spectacular.

Terrible customer service - we had a family death and, being distracted, we booked a room in error, we tried to cancel within 50 minutes of the booking, same day! Hotel did not care, they took the $ 500 euro fee with absolutely no remorse; in reality, they were not inconvenienced, not even for a full day. If this is their approach, after Expedia tried so hard to make a case for a refund, I will never ever consider them. Actions speak louder than words and they convinced me from distance already how much they do for their guests.

LOVED LOVED LOVED San Michele Suite located in Polignaro Al Mare in Puglia.We stayed in the Del Borgo Suite (1 of 7 suites available) located on the second floor.This hotel is perfectly located in the old town, perched above the sea overlooking the beach cove. Make sure to spend time on the rooftop terrasse at sunset.Valentina and Marika are amazing and always there to help you with ANYTHING you need. They helped us with restaurant reservation, beach club, tours, transport, etc. They really make you feel welcomed and are always going and above to anticipate your needs.We got to meet the owners as well who are simply the nicest people ever. They even offered to join them for Pizza one night!

If I could rate this hotel 20 stars, I would. This hotel is clean, beautiful, superbly comfortable, and the service is excellent! Both Margarete and Valentina are amazing concierge and will ensure your trip is perfect. We would stay here again if given the chance!

Ho scelto San Michele Suite per la posizione e per la vista sulla Spiaggia di Lama Monachile, ma arrivato sul posto ho subito capito che sarebbe stato un soggiorno davvero unico. Raramente in strutture a 5 stelle ho trovato una tale ospitalità e capacità di gestione del cliente che viene seguito fin da prima della partenza tramite utilissime informazioni via whatsapp per poi accoglierlo al parcheggio e in struttura con grande disponibilità. La colazione è uno dei punti di forza del San Michele Suite, sia per la varietà delle proposte che per la bontà dei dolci, fatti dalla Sig.ra Mery, che fa anche ottimi toast, sia per la vista che si ha dalla bianca terrazza. Le camere sono molto belle, arredate con gusto e molto ma molto pulite. Il bagno è ampio e dotato di tutto il necessario. Marika, Valentina e Serena ci hanno coccolati nei 5 giorni di permanenza e consiglio a tutti di provare questa esperienza di soggiorno a Polignano a Mare.

Polignano a Mare is a great town to visit, and this hotel is the perfect place to stay while there. The location was unbeatable, walkable to everything in town and overlooking Lama Monachile. The hotel itself was beautiful and spotless but best of all was the staff. Valentina, Marika, and Margarete were beyond helpful leading up to our trip, upon arrival, and during our stay. They even helped coordinate our transportation to and from the hotel. Would highly recommend staying here!
