If you are contemplating doing this on your trip to Italy, BOOK IT NOW!!!! We had the absolute greatest time with the most exquisite views.It is a little ways out of Florence so make sure you leave with plenty of time to catch a taxi or make your way there.You get a crash course on driving manual, but it’s highly recommended that you have some experience first.You take off and drive through the winding hills of Tuscany and see some marvelous sites!Then after a good amount of driving and sightseeing, you make your way back for snacks and wine and it was SO good!I absolutely cannot recommend this adventure enough. The entire crew was outstanding and so kind and helpful.We have been in Italy for over a week and this has truly been the highlight of our entire experience!!!!

We have been to Italy a few times, but this is the first time we planned something like this. What a wonderful experience. The weather forecast was not good, so a few other couples cancelled, but one other couple joined us and the weather held out. The cars are fun to drive, but a little challenging if you are used to new modern cars. The experience of my first car (1974 Fiat X1/9) helped a lot. The drive through the countryside was wonderful and let you really enjoy the car.The best part of the tour was the tour guide Alessandro. He was interesting, engaging, and a wonderful guide. He made a good experience great. Our lunch/wine stop was perfect. We enjoyed great food, company, and conversation.I would not hesitate to do this tour again. We really enjoyed ourselves and spent part of the afternoon with the other couple in Florence.Thanks Alessandro

This beats any your bus or your group wine tour. This experience is worth every penny and then some. Family owned and very genuine. Bella, the tour host is excellent and very welcoming. The cars are vintage, yet we’ll maintained. We could not have asked for a better experience to see the hills of the region here in Tuscany.

We took the Self-driven Vintage Fiat 500 Sunset Tour - Florence.Driving a real 1960s Fiat 500 up the charming hills surrounding Firenze, along breathtaking Chianti vineyards and olive tree gardens at the Tuscany sunset... experience of a lifetime!Reaching the place - 20-25 EUR by taxi from city center or perfectly well explained in the Q&A section of the 500 Touring Club website how to reach them by public transportation and a short countryside walk.The 500 Touring Club team Bella and Davide - friendly, professional, caring and so much fun. Bella gave us a very warm welcome, great demo and made sure throughout the entire tour we felt comfortable. Previous experience driving a stick is essential in order to be able to fully enjoy it, if you select the self-driven option. The vehicles have been upgraded, so no double clutch needed when shifting gears. Driving that vintage gem feels better than driving a modern vehicle with manual transmission - as you can literally feel every inch the car. We both drove and we both loved every second of it!A side note - I have a lot of stick driving experience, but it was not recent. Still, it turned out it was the same as riding a bike - you never forget, especially if you love and miss it.Did I mention - Bella and Davide simply rock! An outstanding team of Fiat 500 pros full of fun and authentic stories. Bella was able to share with us details about the crops and the life of wine and olive oil producers in Chianti.We stopped for appetizers at a very pleasant authentic place where all our special requests were accommodated and the hostess was amaizing. We truly loved every second of this unforgettable vintage Fiat 500 experience. Absolute highlight of our time in Florence! Beautiful cars and countryside, coupled with delicious local wine & food. All the staff were excellent - fun, professional and really wanted you to have a good time. Tour consists of an initial briefing and a chance to practice driving on private land to ensure you're comfortable first. You then drive through the tuscan hills in convoy before stopping at a scenic spot for pictures and then driving on to a vineyard for a (generous!) wine tasting and meats, breads and delicious pasta lunch. Perfect way to spend a day! Book it!

Highlight of our trip to Florence. This is 100% the BEST way to see the Tuscan hills and taste the local produce. We were already very excited to go on this tour and it exceeded all expectations! Alessandro was a fantastic guide and lead the tour very enthusiastically, he enhanced the whole experience for us.

Esperienza incredibile!La canzone di Cremonini parlava di vespe e colli bolognesi...beh qui abbiamo la rivisitazione fiorentina con 500 (non truccate) e colli fiorentini.Esperienza molto divertente, fatta con un gruppo di colleghi di lavoro.Ci siamo tutti divertiti un sacco.Unica pecca il costo, che risulta essere un po' alto.

Absolutely brilliant day. We loved every minute of it and a must do when in Florence.

Good experience and beautiful views. A little poorly organised and we didn’t really have a chance to ‘practice’ driving. The cars are not maintained well, one car kept jumping out of gear and the other would stop all together whenever the car was in neutral. Even the guide admitted it was broken. The tour guide was really lovely and informative. We stopped once for photos and then again at the villa for lunch, no winery visit. Food and wine was great. I think there are better tours out there - wasn’t very exciting and not a great authentic experience.
