Statua Cristo Sommerso Torre Delle Stelle

Nella spiaggia di Genn'e Mari a Torre delle Stelle, lungo la zona sommersa della parete, sulla destra per chi guarda da riva verso il mare, si sviluppa un interessante paesaggio sottomarino caratterizzato da un'estesa frana di massi di granito appoggiati sul letto di sabbia.Proprio in mezzo a questi massi a 7 metri di profondità è possibile visitare la statua del Cristo sommersa in onore ai Caduti in mare, la quale dà il nome al sito e crea al contempo uno spunto di interesse in più per l’immersione. La statua è chiamata anche il Cristo dei Subacquei.

Bit of a swim from the beach but we’ll worth the effort!

Underwater Jesus statue, easily accessible from the beach. Looking down to the after to Jesus is really a bit spooky.The place is marked by a small red buoy, a few hundred meters from shore but take care about weather and currents.
