We went to Timoty sushi on our last night in Rome as it was close to our hotel and highly rated, I can honestly say I'm so glad we didThe sushi is brilliant made from local fresh produce and it shows in the quality of the sushi served.If your looking for good quality sushi at very reasonable price I would recommend you look no further than here.The staff were friendly, welcoming, well versed in the produce that they offered and above all else provided exceptional service.

Assolutamente consigliato!Locale intimo e tranquillo in una città così caotica! Il sushi buonissimo, a scelta tra vegetariano, pesce e carne..vini biologici del territorio. Non da ultimo i ragazzi sono super gentili e cortesi, ci hanno fatto sentire veramente a casa.Non vediamo l’ora di ritornare!Davvero una bellissima scoperta.

I have to stress out that this was by far one of the best experiences I have had with sushi in Italy, My partner and I have visited quite a lot of sushi restaurants around the world, Italy has some amazing offerings, but certainly they are not the most outstanding, that was what I thought before crossing this restaurant.So let me give you an insight on our experience and why Timoty stood out so much.First, we were looking for a sushi restaurant around the area, just for lunch, we didn't have any high expectations, just a preference for sushi, but it was quite early around 11:30AM, it was the day of our departure and we had only some hours before our flight.We arrived at Timoty's place by Google maps and when we arrived we found another restaurant with no sushi offering, it turns out the sushi restaurant only worked at night, but the chef was there, and he asked us if we wanted sushi, we said yes and he decided to offer us the night menu.We decided we wanted to get recommendations from the chef since he was taking our order himself, we told him to surprise us, and oh boy he delivered, we tried a bunch of different makis, from a variety of meat and fish sushi plus some Nigiri and tiramisu for dessert. (I have never praised meat sushi over fish sushi but this one was probably the exception for me)While we were eating, they treated us like special customers, even other people that watched us eating sushi had to be told that it was not available during the day, which increased the overall feeling of a special moment happening just by luck, near our table the fish providers themselves were eating there some brunch, and we had some words with them also, yes we have tasted sushi in quite a lot of countries, but we are not either famous, neither we had a reservation or had spoke before with the chef, but that didn't stopped him to serve us and give us the best hospitality treatment we had received in Italy and probably most of Europe.I just want to say that this probably will remain in my mind not only as one of the best experiences I had in a restaurant in Rome, but also as some of the best sushi I have tried not because of complexity or amount of ingredients but for the balance and flavour of the offerings all aligned with the outstanding service and hospitality we received, I have never been happier of giving someone a tip.That's not the end of the amazing story, all we ate including a 25% tip was 100€ which for two people and the quality of service we got was affordable if you ask me. (We ate more than 30makis + Nigiri + drinks + dessert)

Pranzo eccezionale in una Roma a 40 gradi ci siamo rinfrescati e abbiamo trovato ristoro in questo locale stupendo con servizio top, qualità dei prodotti da voto 10 e ogni piatto e ingrediente aveva una storia.Ci torneremo sicuramente (anche per una colazione). We've been having breakfast in this restaurant which is known as Rosemary during the day. We've been made really welcome by the team, so thought we'd try an evening meal.At 4pm it switches to Timoty, a Sushi Restaurant. It was our last night in Rome and we took a chance. This was our first time having Sushi, so I hoped we hadn't made a mistake. Wow, just wow!If you visit Rome, you need to check out this hidden gem. The owner loves his job, he is environmentally friendly, insisting on using local produce, as well as sourcing good wine from the region.Blown away!
