Villa Marina & Pool - Cernobbio Lake Como

Villa Marina is just flabbergasting. I stayed there for 5 days with some friends late July and enjoyed every minute of it. Not to speak of the typical Italian gusto impressed by the charming owner in so many details (she is a multi-tasked artist and likes colors!), what stroke us was the impeccable way all the spacious rooms were presented to us. The garden is beautifully manicured, the crystal-clean pool big enough for us to organize a waterpolo match, and last but not least I’d like to mention Heidi, Marina’s long-time maid, discreet as much as attentive to prepare delicious Italian meals and keep the Villa in perfect shape. Besides, we enjoyed Lake Como, went on a romantic boat trip admiring the stunning villas on its banks and enjoyed a couple of aperitivos at the Villa d’Este hotel, just across the road, one of the country’s best and exclusive manors. To sum it up, I can only recommend Villa Marina as convenying part of the world-wide known Italian lifestyle. We will return for sure next year.l
