Antico Caffè del Carmine
I went there to have breakfast, at 10 am there were no more croissants or sweet options, we opted for Panzerotti, but it was also no longer available. we asked for toasted bread with orange juice, but they forgot to bring the juice. The food was delicious, but due to the low quality of service and higher prices than other places in the region, I do not recommend it as an option for breakfast. Maybe lunch is different.

Absolutely Fabulous!Great caprese, pesto pasta.The ambiance was The Best! We sat outside which was perfect for people watching.Best part, the family! This is family operated, everyone participated and it was Magnifico.Thank You!!!

Nice place with great food. Really amazing pasta, good quality of ingredients and well seasoned. I also recommend coffee with stuffed croissant. Good, cold beer with small snacks. Staff always nice and friendly, very reasonable prices.

Piccolo bar in uno dei tanti vicoletti. Fatto un aperitivo classico con la prova di un panzerotto,quando dicono piccolo..lo è sul serio! 3x1 cm. Non hanno birra alla spinaConsigliato anche per la gentilezza e simpatia.

Great location on the alley, felt very local, with the vegetables seller shouting out as people walked past. Coffee was excellent, food was good. They let me sit here for about an hour. Very reasonable pricing too. For a coffee and a pasta dish, it was under €10.

Thanks to people working at Antico Caffè del Carmine we felt ourselves welcomed in Italy!Charming and non touristic place where you can get focacca, gelato, coffee, pastry (cannoli and croissants among them), panini, panzerotti, etc.Simple and tasty, absolutely worth the money. They also open super early (6:30 +-) which is great advantage for those who arrive to the city early. Next to the place there is a market spot selling fresh fruits. Kindly helped to charged our phones. Overall impression is fantastic!❤️

Antico Caffè del Carmine
We visited multiple times during our stay. The cappuccino was amazing, best in town. The pastries were delicious and the prices were good for the quality of the food and service. All the waiters were very nice, we felt welcomed even tho we didn’t speak fluent Italian, unlike some places in the city.The only flaw was not having the prices on the pasta menu.

We came based on the amazing reviews. Our drinks were good, and everything on the menu was very affordable. Unfortunately, when it came time to pay our bill, we were charged $35 for 4 items (6$ x 3 and 7$ x 1). Even with a coperta, that would not come out to $35 so we are disappointed to assume that we were overcharged for being tourists. We have had cheaper and more delicious dinners in old town. The food was not worth the extra charge sadly. Definitely ask for an itemized receipt!
