Querceto di Castellina

A marvelous family winery, restaurant, and cooking experience. We spent the day with Laura, the matriarch of the enterprise and she made us feel like family. I wish we could have stayed longer. A beautiful scenic overlook tucked away in the Chianti countryside. I could not recommend it higher if you’re looking for something authentic.

We took a day trip to this winery for a tasting with pair dishes for lunch. The view was fantastic along with the food. But, I must say that the wine made the day! Outstanding selection of wines grown, aged and bottled right on the property. We ordered wines from the tasting and some olive oil. They made all the arrangements to ship - which arrived last week. I want to thank Mary for her hospitality and Pamela for making the arrangements for our visit. We hope to be back soon.

This place had beautiful views, excellent food and delicious wine. The owners and staff were super friendly and accommodating. We rented the CILIEGIO and the MANDORLO and it was nice to have enough space for 5 of us. Both were clean. The Ciliegio's bathroom was recently updated and very modern. However the Mandorlo was dated. Both apartments were fairly dark and all 5 of us agreed that the mattresses could be better. Being in a quiet and beautiful location was nice but keep in mind that you will have to drive a steep road to get here and there are not that many food options (only a few restaurants and the supermarkets had weird hours). Other than the few things I mentioned, id recommend this place if you're looking for a quiet and relaxing get away.

A amazing lunch and great wines for tasting in the Tuscan hills and between the vineyards. Absolutely stunning views. Incomparable experience.

Don’t hesitate, visit to grab a great bottle or book a stay. We loved our visit to Querceto. The staff were so hospitable and helped us plan our visit. We booked a cooking class with Nonna. It was a great experience with many dishes in her home. After cooking we received a tasting and enjoyed our meal. We enjoyed walks through the property, the pool and the local area for dinners. The Villa we stayed in had a great kitchen to also relax, watch the sunset and cook our own meal. I highly recommend Querceto and Nonna, we loved her! We hope to return soon.

We are very glad we chose to stay at this property for 3 nights on a recent vacation in Tuscany. The hosts and staff are amazing. The property is beautiful, secluded - out of the way setting, and very relaxing with great views. We enjoyed breakfasts on the terrace, early mornig pre-dawn / sunrise walks around the property, nice wines, and the cooking class with Laura! We would definitely come back and would recommend it to others.

Had an amazing experience doing a tour + wine tasting and lunch at Querceto di Catellina. The staff is super nice, there Chianti is well balanced and the food was really good too.The view on the wines from the restaurant is stunning. I could not recommend it more. A recommendation we will give our friend and family without hesitation :)

Really amazing and beautiful place. It has a great balcony where you can sit, drink wine and eat food while watching the amazing view. We've ordered some wines and cheese, was really great.

This was my second stay at Querceto di Castellina. The first was in October 2018 with friends on a girl's trip, and ever since then I knew I had to bring my daughters back. The love and care the family has put into all aspects of the winery and apartments comes shining through. A few highlights: warm welcome, delicious breakfast each day, wine & charcuterie available each afternoon, well appointed kitchens and fully modern bathrooms, adorable winery dogs, beautiful grounds/scenery/views, and the highlight.....a full day cooking class with Mama Laura! The day began with morning shopping in the quaint town of Castellina for the ingredients, and ended with the best meal we had in Italy accompanied by their delicious wines served in Laura's home. It felt like we were members of the family by the end of our stay, it was very hard to leave.Thank you Mary, Laura and Jacopo for the amazing hospitality and creating a truly special family memory for me and my girls!

Ho soggiornato presso il Querceto di Castellina per una notte.Location mozzafiato immersa nel verde.La suite che ci hanno dato era veramente bella, in particolare l'enorme bagno.Colazione in terrazza ottima, molto abbondante e con una bellissima vista.Ampio parcheggio accanto agli appartamenti.Unica pecca, che tuttavia passa in secondo piano visti i grandi pregi, la strada per arrivare all'agriturismo, un po' dissestata.Personale cordiale.Consiglio vivamente di passarci per chiunque voglia passare qualche notte nel Chianti.
