Colony Hotel

We just finished our stay at The Colony Hotel and will absolutley be returning. Let's start by saying - this is a 3 star hotel and you should not expect a 5 star. Our room was very basic, but clean and comfortable. Our room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels and sheets provided each time. This is an old building, so yes the rooms are a bit outdated, but we didn't mind. Note- they do not provide toiletries, so bring your own. Service was good, no complaints. The location is incredible. I do not understand the reviews claiming this place is far from the downtown area- it certainly is not. There were two buses that took us directly downtown in 15-20 minutes and two buses that took us to a tram station (10 min) where we took the tram into the very downtown core (10 min.) So simple and quick. Also lots of e-scooters available as well. Not only that, but the surrounding neighbourhood is beautiful and is comprised of many streets of bars, cafes, restaurants, boutiques and services.Something to note is they require city tax in cash, the day of check in. So make sure you have cash available for this.

The worst hotel I’ve been in. It wasn’t clean, the tables had dust on them, the rooms had insects and spiders.The decor is very old and makes the place creepy. It looks like a horror house.You can hear everything that happens in other rooms.Some rooms had broken windows.People were smoking weed in the halls. A group of us went and some friends had a man nock on the door smoking and he catcalled them. After this incident, the receptionist didn’t help much. The guests were very weird, you would hear shouting in various floors.Some rooms had a bidet in the shower, others the tap didn’t work, the bathtub has a curtain which was black with dirt.We had dinner the first night, we had pasta which was cold, then we had some meat and potatoes, they were dry and burnt and for dessert they gave us a cup with fruit that wasn’t fresh. The portions were also very small.The breakfast isn’t varied and what you can have is disgusting, the croissants and the bread were hard and the coffee like bad water. The juice would irritate you throat.It was a horrible and terrifying experience, wouldn’t recommend it at all.

A dir poco osceno.. camera sporca e minuscola 170€ una notte e non hai nulla.. niente colazione nessun servizio.. una tassa di soggiorno" che viene pagata a nero.. qualsiasi cosa tu faccia devi pagare.. l'unica cosa buona era il letto che era comodo.. per il resto.. bhe meglio lasciar perdere.."

Esperienza pessima! Ho pernottato per una notte e non ho trovato nessun comfort! Il bagno era otturato e aveva delle perdite motivo per cui non si poteva nemmeno fare i bisogni! Per non parlare del letto, per niente comodo e a rotelle!! Sconsiglio vivamente e tra l’altro fuori non è presente nemmeno l’insegna dell’hotel. Ho notato da qualche recensione che tutto sommato, anche se la struttura era antica, l’hotel non era male invece è male male!

Ho prenotato una stanza in un sito dove mi indicava la stanza che volevo scegliere. Mi sono recata alla reception dicendo che c'è stato un'errore perché non era la stanza che avevo prenotato e la loro risposta è stata: Le foto non c'entrano niente, dipende da quella che ti capita e non c'è la possibilità di darle un'altra stanza matrimoniale". La stanza matrimoniale che loro chiamano è antiquata

whole life I have never lived a whole with this bad sanitation and service! Cleaner people threw my things away. Even it could be a slightly better I wouldn’t write it! Whoever is trying to book the hotel, please no! You can find much much better hotel with the same price! Don’t make urself miserable! Worst out of the worst!!!!!!

ho contato le molle del materasso... personale poco disponibile. abbastanza pulito eccetto per un elastico x capelli ancora presente sul portasapone dentro alla doccia. decisamente costoso nel complesso

Non è distante dallo studio Olimpico, che era la mia destinazione. Una passeggiata di una ventina di minuti sulla via Flaminia. Molto economico, e per quel che ho speso, ho trovato una situazione decorosa.Una camera in ordine, arredamento vecchiotto, ma i letti erano comodi e la biancheria pulita. Il bagno decisamente da effettuare la manutenzione, ma agibile e pulito. Posto auto al chiuso a pagamento.

The most awful hotel I've ever stayed at. Power goes off intermittently, elevator and lobby smell like garbage. Tiles in the bathroom have residue, AC doesn't work. The service is atrocious...they have a bar and restaurant yet no on tends to the bar nor the restaurant. Staff is extremely unfriendly and the hygiene is incredibly poor. Stay FAR away. I have never left a negative review for a hotel in my 30 years of living, but this place will leave you nothing short of disappointed.
