Eating Europe Food Tours Naples

Only had one day in Naples but god I wish we had more. This tour was so good and we got to try some delicious food and learn about the history of the food culture in Napoli. The walking aspect wasn’t too intense as most of the places were situated quite close together. We did the rooftop tour and it was so worthwhile, only had 1 other person in our tour group it truly felt like a private tour, would definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back to Napoli again!!!

This is one of my favorite reviews ever. We wanted an experience of a lifetime and were lucky enough to have it. We still have goosebumps! We accidentally stumbled on this food tour for our 10 year anniversary. It was our 2nd day in Napoli, Italy. We had no idea what was about to happen. I hope you enjoy one of our favorite moments ever.We were thinking this was going to be a party of 8 to 10 people on this tour. It was just Aldo, my wife and me. I know what you are saying. How didn’t you not know? I was working 20 hours a day when I booked this, so I saw the ratings and hit the buy button. In summary, it was the pure definition of serendipity.I know I keep saying this. You won’t believe it. Let me explain. We started communicating with our food critic Aldo to find our meeting point. He texted us and found us looking lost/confused (Americans lost in Naples). From his perspective it must have been very easy to see us looking like tourists.Let’s get to the review now. This review is not about the delicious food. It is about the new friend we’ll have for a lifetime. When we first met him, he knew we were Americans with zero experience with the local cuisine. Did he modify his plan based on our lack of understanding or ignorance, no! He changed our life forever. The walking tour began with explanations of why Naples is so important to our history (the world) and influenced the rest of the current civilization. We tasted what he would eat and drink for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I won’t give you all the details so you can do what we did…live Naples like a local. I hope you have goosebumps like we did! Put yourself in Aldo’s hands, and he will open your heart to Napoli.Thank you, Aldo! Naples will have a home in our heart forever because of you.

This was an AMAZING tour! Full of delicious food, and even better conversation. Our tour guide (Marcelo) was thoughtful, professional, and had such great information about both historic and modern Naples. We ended up being a super intimate group so it felt like a private tour. The food stops were fairly close together, so nothing strenuous (but still wear flat shoes!). We ended the night on a private rooftop, with STUNNING views of the city and Vesuvius. Spending time with Marcelo was like being hosted by a friend, wanting to share his city. We had a fantastic time and I highly recommend to anyone who wants the real local experience. :)

What a fun way to see, taste, and learn about Naples! The pizza was incredible and the ending on the roof was so so so fun.

We had a wonderful time sharing food drink and stories with our guide Marcello. I feel like I got to know a lot about the culture and quirky nature of Napoli and its people. I would definitely recommend this tour. Thanks Marcelo for sharing a very special and much enjoyed final rooftop stop where we were fortunate enough to learn how to sing dance and speak Nepolis without talking. Your genuine love for your city is delightful and appreciated.

Had a fantastic time!! Aldo is an amazing guide - very charismatic and knowledgeable. The food was incredible - just prepare yourself, it’s a full meal not small tastings. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and everyone!!
