Hotel O Sole Mio
Strong walking shoes are needed as they're up a steep hill. The hotel is clean and tidy, the food is outstanding.

Great Hotel with Private Parking at the top of the mountain with stunning views but only a ten minute stroll down to the town with a few fabulous restaurants and shops. Reception staff were so friendly and really helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel O Sole Mio
Stayed at this hotel on the 17th June for a week, what a gem of a place, friendly professional staff who where only too happy to help you or to meet your needs. Special mention to the restaurant staff led by Tony, made our holiday a lovely experience, food was first class made from scratch with local produce, as we are vegetarians we were ready for a few disappointments but not in this restaurant they bent over backwards to make sure our requirements were met. The location was good for us but perhaps not for everyone, its on a hill and for people with motability issues it might be a problem. The hotel ran a shuttle bus to and from Sorrento and tours can be arranged with hotel to have you picked up and brought back to hotel. In all a fabulous hotel and will definitely be staying there again .

Very nice and clean! Friendly staff. A bit away from village and Sorrento. Breakfast good. Food a bit tasteless.

Buon rapporto qualità prezzo rispetto ai prezzi che ci sono giù in basso sulla costiera situato in collina dove anche quando fa caldo è sempre ventilato grande parcheggio disponibile e Sorrento è raggiugibile con la navetta dell albergo o con motorini noleggio è presente anche una bella piscina ben curata

First time to Italy and so glad we chose this hotel for our stay. All staff were smiling, friendly and helpful, from management to maintenance man. Room on top floor with comfy bed, great shower and amazing views. Food was excellent especially the evening meal. Special thanks to Marco and maitre Tony. Thank you O Sole Mio for a wonderful holiday.

All hotel staff (and I mean ALL) were exceptional.From Tony dining room maitre' de , Veronica on Reception who went beyond the call of duty by stepping in to dismantle our sink and rescue my wife's earring, and our cleaning lady Carla? Room 312. Hotel is about 2/3rds of a mile from the town of Sant Agata downhill and to return for some people might require a taxi , of which there were none ! The hotel does run a mini bus to Sorrento from June which passes through San't Agata. When we were there the area had experienced heavy rainfall prior to our arrival so the swimming pool ,60 metres from the hotel was cool but a haven of peace.The pool bar is good for drinks and lunch . We preferred being in our location rather than in Sorrento which echoed to the noise of waspish sounding scooters and frenetic activity . Car hire needs thought, courage and an evasion strategy or luck !!

We started our Vespa trip from the hotel, which is perfect to explore Amalfi, Monte Faito, and Pompeii. Basic rooms, with all you need. Breakfast is quite nice. The hotel has a bar with very lovely personnel.

What a beautiful place but it is at the very top of the mountain and a 25min shuttle free of charge from the hotel to Sorrento! Which is a great sepping point but the last bus goes back to the hotel at 7:30.There is a village which is a 5min walk from the hotel although on our first visit we took the longer route by accident!It really is a lovely hotel with friendly welcoming staff. It is very very clean.We got the breakfast here a few mornings which is typical buffet style but the coffee machine is really awful!We had dinner in the restarunt and to our room one night. Last orders are at 9. It is quite a fancy menu with alot of fish options. Our food was very average both nights which was dissapointing as it looked amazing but just didnt taste amazing. But was still decent.Checkout is at 10:30 and our flight wasnt until 10pm so we decided to hang around the pool area for a while as i have done in so many hotels before with no issues. We had our towels packed so asked could we hire some for the day. We had to pay €10 each to access the bar & pool area which is a joke in my opinion. And €2 to hire a towel which is 100% understandable. And to purchus food or drink you either had to have cash or go back to the hotel and pay with your card which is annoying. In the bar pool area the owner kept walking up and down which was actually really of putting and intimadating. As everyone was simply just chilling by the pool. He made it a very weird atmosphere as he wasnt very friendly or welcoming.
