Circolo San Pietro was founded in Rome in 1869 on the initiative of a group of young people led by Cardinal Lacobini. With enthusiasm from the young upper middle class and noble Roman families who wanted to show fidelity to the pope and to defend the anti-ecclesiastical attacks in this difficult time of the history.Circolo San Pietro, which has about 450 members, performs the work through committees and sections, each of which is used to perform a particular task.Among the humanitarian work the most important includes cooking food for poor people and night shelters for homeless people, pediatric care and much more.We would like to visit this huge palace, but unfortunately it was not possible. Therefore, only 4 stars.
