Lots of beautiful, well-priced items. Helpful and nice staff.Not sure where the other reviewer is from, but where I live you have to pay for bags by city ordinance, it's not a shop-by-shop decision. Also, Venice has a huge issue with trash--they have to sort & barge everything off the island, so single-use bags are not used unless necessary.

Rude staff. Big tourist trap, avoid.

Two things indicate the level at which this shop holds its customers, all of which are probably tourists. We bought two items from their shop on Murano. The lady bagged the items and handed us the two items. When I asked if she could put them in a plastic bag to make them easier to carry she asked for five cents for the bag. I paid it but thought that was cheap. We paid with a MasterCard.It wasn’t until we got back to our hotel,and I looked at the receipt that I realized she didn’t ask, nor warn us, that she was converting the Euros to dollars. Granted we should have read the receipt fully before signing it, but we never even got that option as she just handed us the receipt to sign.This is nothing but stealing money. The banks are complicit in this and while most stores who subscribe to this feature have the honesty to warn you and make sure you can tell them not to do this, some are just looking to grab another three percent on the conversion.The only way to stop this is to boycott these stores. Of course as a tourist, or one toIme shopper this is probably not going to happen and hopefully these reviews will have some impact.
