Poste Italiane

I am writing to complain about Poste Italiane. I sent a parcel to my daughter in Manchester on 10.10.20. I paid €32 for this service. She never received it. The contents were of no commercial value as they were homemade knitwear. After two months of waiting I attempted to contact the Poste Italiane through a phone call. I was asked the delivery number of the parcel but as this is all done through robots after ten attempts, I gave up. I then tried the chat box. I was asked my code number again and was taken to the page which tracked the parcel. I had already tried this option and the tracking number let me know that it had left Bologna on 13.10.20, then it had disappeared. I went round and round in circles through the chat taking me to the tracking link and then after another then attempts I gave up. I then emailed them and waited two weeks for a reply telling me I needed to complain.... what the hell did they think I was doing up until now? I created a profile on the Poste Italiane website only to be told that my Codice Fiscale (why do they always ask for that in Italy?)is not correct... I have the card in front of me and I can guarantee that it has always worked up' until now. I try logging in through my husband's number and it allows me to create a profile which when I try to log in it takes me to a blank page. I abandon this strategy as well. The final step on my futile journey is to go in person to the post office where they tell me to make a complaint through their website. Meanwhile I watch the sentimental advert on TV about some football giant dreaming of receiving football boots as a child and having absolutely no trouble at all in receiving his poignant gift. This is an example of Italy at it's worst (I sent a parcel to my other daughter in Paris through Bartolini €25\same weight\same size...it arrived after two days.) I am totally frustrated at this whole process as Italy can not seem to organize itself at the best of times, let alone using new technology and brace myself for this never-ending-journey...

Lasciate fuori ogni speranza...Sistemi informatici che non vanno.Dipendenti lenti e che alle 8.20 invece di aprire vanno al AR.È per finire un pacco che avevo spedito è stato smarrito nel loro ufficio e non risulta mai uscito da lì....

Personale cortese. Il direttore è persona scostante e ha mostrato poca professionalità

Lenti all'inverosimile!Meglio evitare di provare a ritirare una raccomandata in giacenza (perchè il postino ha lasciato l'avviso senza nemmeno suonare il campanello). La rimanderanno! Schifosi.1 stella perchè non si può dare di meno.
