Paolino Packing

Paolino Packing organized for me the shipping of an expensive item overseas. They were initially (i.e. before payment) responsive and diligent. I had to pay additional fees in order to get an insurance in case of loss or repair. Even though the packing was reasonably well done my item was damaged during the transportation (I noticed it after opening the box sealed with about 50 screws). I tried get a refund according to my insurance but their staff (Mr. Paolo in this case) didn't respond to any of my emails. I had to ask my supplier to contact them directly as he is in Italy near their location. Apparently, this is Paolino Packing's after-sales service. Their response was that the item should be inspected before the truck driver leaves. This is a bogus explanation. As a supposed specialist in the packaging of expensive equipment and goods, Mr. Paolo should know that those items are too delicate to be unpacked in a rush. The truck driver will not wait for the one hour or so (in my case) required to safely unpack my good. He should surely have know about this before scamming me with his so-called insurance.

Paolino Packing pakkasi Cosevecchie Firenzestä ostamani kirjoituspöytä-kaapin 'scriboir' ja järjesti sen kuljetuksen Suomeen, kotiosoitteeseeni. Yhteydenpito sähköpostitse oli sujuvaa, Paolino Packing piti myös Cosevecchieen yhteyttä tarpeen vaatiessa aktiivisesti. Kaappi oli erittäin hyvin pakattu. Maksaminen tapahtui Suomesta käsin normaalina pankkisiirtona.
