It was very nice to have a quick tour in Rome. Especially if you have very limited time. But be careful, some of the buses doesn’t have sunshade on their top floors. So it may be dangerous especially in very hot weather. Online Tickets can be more economical then buying from the agencies.

I purchased this tour as part of a package, so I wasn't really aware of what I was getting. What I did get was a tour of Roma that was semi informative, semi relaxing, and might be good if there was better information on where to meet the tour bus... We waited for 40 minutes after being passed up by the bus bc we couldn't find the actual stop! After finally getting on, it did give me a nice respite from walking and allowed me to get my bearings a bit better...

Top marks. The first time you use it I think it is well worth using the headphones and plugging them into the on-board multi-lingual information guide which tells you all about the sites. But where it excels is as a bus. Get on and get off when and where you want and be back in ample time. It allows terrific freedom.A 24 hr ticket is 25 euros (adult) and 15 euros (junior). A 48 hr ticket is 32 (adult) and 19 euros (junior). And a 72 hr ticket is 39 euros (adult) and 26 euros (junior). A Daily Ticket which allows travel for that day is 22 and 14 euros for adult and junior respectively. And for 16 euros for adult and 11 euros for juniors a 3 Pass Ticket is valid for one day on any of GLT bus lines and allows you to get on and off at 3 different stops of your choice. All stops take in sites such as the Circus Maximus, Basilica Santa Maggorie, Colosseum/Forum, Piazza Venezia and Vatican City. There is three main lines. Discover Rome (GREEN), Destination Eataly (ORANGE) and Explore Museums (BLUE). Every one worth doing.

We did the hop on hop off bus in Rome. It was absolutely worth the 20 euros to do it. There were quite a few stops on the routes, and we appreciated the history lesson on each stop and places as we drove by. It took 2 hours to do the tour one full time around. Would recommend to anyone wanting to go around Rome!

Informative with fun hosts and runs very efficiently with the other Rome tour busses. Be sure to get the ticket that has the three main busses and you'll never wait very long at all.

Wrong details given when bought, or maybe buses decided to head in early? Tons of people waiting in the rain at 7:45, for 40 plus minutes and no green line buses in site, plenty of other bus lines stopping by though!!

Horror experience! The bus had no air conditioning, we and 3 kids were like in a sauna at 40 degrees outside, there was a small fan directed only to the two persons of the staff. The audio was not working in most of the seats. The bus was an overall mess, craking and making a terrible noise. The upper floor curtain was not functionable. Staff totally uninterested, didn't respect route and stations, it took us 2 hours to get off the bus! We had one day pass, but we didn t take it the second time!

A nice way to see many things in a short time. We missed our cruise and was stuck in Rome. So we made the best of it. Had a day to sight see. This bus is easy to follow. Easy to ask questions. Has headphones to listen to some history. Only negative is on the orange line when u end in the eatery, if u choose to get off they will not pick you back up You have to take the metro back. Metro not terminal. There’s a difference! Lol

After paying 24 Euros …… we waited for nearly 30 minutes in the hot sun of 36 degrees. (It was so hot the men selling bottles of water started physically abusing each other). We were told buses run every 15 min and last bus would be 8pm. We got on and the last bus was actual 6.30pmThe commentary started after we left each site - so we weren’t able to grasp the significance of the city.We could have got off at each site but the certainty of not getting on the next bus as they were crowded was not worth it.. we decided to get off and just walk back to our hotel.
