Fantastico! Exactly the ceramic place we were looking for. We spoke with the lovely artist/family member of the shop. The ceramics are beautiful and affordable. Hoping to go back once more before leaving Florence. The very best ceramics in Firenze, in our opinion!

My grandmother lived in Italy in the early part of the 20th century and had several Della Robbia pieces, so we grew up these colorful Terra-cotta figures. In 2000, entirely by chance, I found the Della Robia store/workshop. I embarrassed myself and my husband with my over the top excitement. If I remember correctly, the entrance was small and one had to step down to enter. It was explained that it was the original Luca Della Robbia workshop and this was street level during that time of history. I can still feel my excitement. At the time they were creating oil paintings to temporarily replace several that had left the Uffizi Gallery for Repair or Travel. It was an incredible experience and I purchased as many pieces I thought would travel home with me safely.

Went twice to this Ceramic shop to get souvenirs. We met the friendly owners. They are painters and the husband is a teacher too. He showed us old pictures way back when they took over the shop. ☺️ Nice experience to meet and talk to local makers and buy their products. Buy local souvenirs and not cheap souvenirs made from other countries. Worth it!

Beautiful selection of authentic Italian ceramics. The owner was extremely helpful and wrapped our bowls very carefully. Particularly thrilled with the hand painted bowls from Deruta, which are absolutely gorgeous.
