Gi Home Guesthouse

La struttura è posizionata al centro del paese, in un palazzo adiacente un comodissimo parcheggio, cosa non da poco in un paese come Meta. Il mare è distante meno di 1km e comunque la navetta ferma proprio sotto casa, anche questa comodissima. La struttura è perfetta, e come da foto è ricercata nei particolari, nelle rifiniture, e nella divisione degli spazi, cosa abbastanza rara per questo genere di strutture. Totalmente climatizzata, pulita e con tutto quello che serve per trascorrere un ottima vacanza. Un plauso particolare va al proprietario Giuseppe, persona speciale, da subito gentilissimo e disponibile alle ns esigenze. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

Our first time using Air Bnb and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, Giuseppe is a super host great communication weeks and days leading up to the stay, super friendly and welcoming, very informative and attentive also provided us with secure parking directly next door at the cost of €10 euros per day.The apartment was immaculate and modern just like the pictures. 100% recommend when staying in Positano.

The trip from the beginning to end was a breeze with Gi. He graciously met us outside the train station and showed us around the main roads of the neighborhood on our walk to the place. The apartment was an easy walk from the train station, even with 4 bags of luggage! He also took the time to explain the train and bus schedule to us, as well as made suggestions for streets to see in Sorrento, and Capri Boat Tour. He even surprised us with a lemon cake and a rosé for our honeymoon!! (Grazie millie, Gi!). Communication was easy with questions we might’ve had throughout the trip. Never felt like we were a burden to him.The apartment itself was spotless and looked better than the pictures. You can see the beautiful mountains from every room in the house. It’s the perfect size for a couple. Very comfortable and has air conditioning in the living area and bedroom.The location is great for those who want to see Sorrento (only three stops from the train station, for about $3 one way!), Amalfi coast & Capri. The neighborhood itself was a great central location to get to all the touristy sites you need to go. The neighborhood was a quiet, and cute residential area. The nearest beach is a 10 min walk and it’s so beautiful!Don’t think twice and book! We hope to come back again just to re-connect with Guiseppe. :) Thank you again Gi for a wonderful stay.

Una splendida casa molto attrezzata e accogliente, arredata con gusto, dotata di tutti i comfort. Giuseppe, l'host, è molto disponibile e attento a tutte le esigenze degli ospiti. La posizione è ottimale, vicina al mare, alla stazione della circumvesuviana con tutti i servizi nelle vicinanze. Una bellissima esperienza. Grazie ancora per l'ospitalità.

Cannot recommend highly enough! Giuseppe was always quick to respond, and extremely helpful with any queries. He provided us with recommendations from travel options and routes, to places to eat, to days out (even helped to arrange a boat tour and provided links for what to do to make the most of our time). The apartment is perfectly placed for being able to get to all that Sorento and the Amalfi coast has to offer. Excellent transport links by train and bus. The apartment is beautifully finished and comfortable with so many thoughtful touches to make us feel welcome and at home. We will be coming back. Thank you Giuseppe, see you again soon!

Giuseppe is an amazing host! He helped us find our way to the airbnb with very detailed instructions, and we were welcomed like family. He is very responsive and gave us lots of recommendations on what to do and how to do it, as well as helping us figure out public transportation around Meta, Sorrento, and the Almafi coast area. Best Airbnb I have ever stayed in, the apartment looks just like the photos if not even better. It exceeded our expectations and I would recommend staying here to everyone! If I could give more than five stars I would.

If you’re looking for a superhost, you’re in the right place. We loved Guiseppe’s hospitality, attitude and vibe as he took care of us like family. He welcomed us to the bnb and showed us a map of the entire area and asked us what we wanted to do so he could make recommendations for restaurants and how to plan our itinerary in the beautiful town of Meta, Sorrento, Positano and Capri which we visited from his place with ease. At one point, I forgot to turn the lights off on our rental car and the battery was dead. I called Guiseppe and within 5 mins I had a mechanic come to me and help us get the car started. We had a nice living room, all appliances, perfect stand up shower, and a laundromat within a 5 minute walk and another 2 mins to reach the beach which has many restaurants with a waterfront view of the mountains, as well as many pizzerias and cafes, scooter rentals and supermarket all within a 30 second walk. If I ever visit the Amalfi coast again , I will book this Airbnb without hesitation and look forward to seeing Guiseppe again.
