Museo molto interessante, per chi si trova a Trieste, in posizione centrale a pochi passi da piazza Unità d'Italia, su quattro livelli , all'interno si trovano vasi, vestiti, quadri, pitture , armature , armi dei samurai, tutto dell'antica Cina e Giappone , visita gratuita

Piccolo, ma interessante. Ad ingresso libero e gratuito, in pieno centro, cale sicuramente almeno una veloce visita. Incentrato su cultura di cina e giappone

Bellissimo e ben fornito museo su due paesi orientali,la Cina e il Giappone. Il museo è ad accesso gratuito ed è composto da un piano terra e due sale al primo piano, con esposizione di oggetti provenienti dalla Cina e un'ultima sala al secondo piano con esposizione di oggetti provenienti dal Giappone. Veramente una bella vista, gli oggetti in esposizione sono molto ben curati ed interessanti, abiti tipici della tradizione cinese, porcellane cinesi, armi, maschere ed armature della tradizione giapponese.Beautiful and very good furnished museum about China and Japan. The museum is composed by three great rooms: ground floor, with an exposition of photos; first floor with an exposition of objects from China, especially dress and jar; second floor with objects from Japan, especially weapons . Mandatory stop if you are in Trieste. The entrance is free. Please check the timetable, cause apparently is not open every day

Small, nice musem in Cavana district hosting a stunning Japanese section in which you can enjoy, among others, the famous Great wave at Kanagawa" by Katsushita Hokusai."

Stupendo museo gratuito! Pieno di spunti interessanti anche per chi non si intende di arte orientale come me

This unique museum is full of Chinese and Japanese pieces of art. There are a lot of paintings from XVIII and XIX century, uniforms and clothing, katanas, samurai's hats. Moreover museum is fully complimentary. You pay only for some souvenirs, if u want od course and u can donate the museum.

Visita gratuita, una piacevole scoperta. Il museo all'interno contiene una vasta collezione di stampe e ceramiche orientali, oltre ad oggetti di uso comune come specchi ed armadi. La collezione strutturata su tre piani contiene manufatti cinesi e giapponesi. Molto carini gli aquiloni appesi sulle rampe delle scale.

It was amazing I was expecting to go out of there and give three stars but no it exceeded my expectations. If you are going past it is definitely worth a visit. It is great for children and the artwork is exquisite and breathtaking. The fact that this museum is not more visited is beyond me as well as it is free. It is a must.
