Appena dentro l' Isola di Ortigia non si può mancare la visita alle bancarelle del mercato, dove i venditori descrivono i loro prodotti cantando nenie in lingua locale, con un accento buffo e folcloristico. Sembra essere immersi in una tipica souk araba.

Nice little market first part (next to the Apollo temple, is mainly for souvenirs (especially hats), then, in the food part, a stand selling local delicacies and fish.Further on terraces with seats outside to enjoy seafood on the middle of the hustle and bustle of the local market!
