Honestly, as an Italian, I had a bad experience. The place is lovely and the staff friendly, but it looked to me like the food was sub-par. We ordered something simple, melon with prosciutto and tomato bruschette, but the prosciutto tasted like it was store-bought. The restaurant tried to make up for it, it seemed, with some little carrots sprinkled here and there and a strange contraption made of one single cherry tomato with what looked like a celery leaf stuck inside of it (why?!). Overall, I was a bit upset because I know what a good meal in Italy is supposed to taste like, and this wasn’t it.

Lovely place, great service, enjoyable food. Shrimps we’ve had here (inland) were better than those we’ve had on the coast, very tender.

By far our favourite place in Cortona! We came back 3 times in our 3 days of being in the area. The waiter and waitress we had were amazing and attentive, especially to my 1.5 year old son. They were so accommodating and the food was melt in your mouth delicious. We will be back!

All in all a great, authentic italian Restaurant. The waiter was very friendly and explained the dishes to us. One Star off because we had to wait rather long for our receipt.Definitely a great recommendation when visiting Cortona.

Food was ok but overpriced especially the 9eu lettuce and tomato salad and be aware of the 2eu pp cover charge for a few bits of bread. They also tried to tell me cash only no credit cards accepted when i went to pay but a machine magically appeared when i showed them i only had 10eu cash. Then tried to almost double the bill for credit card payment. Yeah nah to this place.

We were glad to find a table outside, on the street. The waiter is a very joviale gentleman, funny and attentive. We ordered some bruschetta with tomato and pasta with boar ragu, some white house wine. Food was good, not top notch. It was a nice experience overall, but there are some better places nearby.

Enjoyed our dinner here, had booked to sit in their outside area which looks lovely but they kindly changed us to inside as it had started to rain. We shared bruschetta, pork and mushrooms, char grilled mixed meats, fries and salad. Far too much. Beer and spritz the red wine. Staff were great and good delicious

This is a good, solid place for lunch or dinner in Arezzo. The pastas and salads are delicious. The terrace is nice and the inside dining room is lovely.
