Cena strepitosa: al nostro arrivo il tavolo non era ancora pronto ma siamo stati accolti all’interno con un calice di prosecco offerto gentilmente dal simpatico proprietario. Piatti straordinari, non banali, con cibo di qualità e ben presentati. Ottimo l’antipasto crudo con triglie marinate, tartare di ricciola e di lampuga, e i gamberi. Gustoso il pesce spada con la caponata così come la lampuga laccata al miele.

Che locale ricercato e che cucinaraffinata! È un ristorantino un pòdecentrato rispetto al centro infestatodi turisti e presenta un arredamentomoderno con qualche tocco di originalità.I piatti nascono dalla cucina tradizionalesiciliana e rivisitati con originalita'risultano squisiti e preparati congrande maestria. Lo chef - proprietario ci ha accolte con grande garbo e competenzae ci ha illustrato la preparazione di ogni piatto. Da provare senz'altro.

Excellent food and service. Every dish was tasty, and seemed to offer a twist, a bit of individually. The polpo was tender, my wife loved her freddo di mare. I also had the zucchini soup. The busiate for my daughter was also perfect for her. The risotto was not that risotto like, or at least not like the ones I've been used, but was still a very satisfying dish. We were full when the stuffed squid came but we still polished that off. Then there was the tiramisu. Recommended.

Really exceeds expectations. This is a place that cares for the food and goes well beyond what you would typically expect: a starter with a kick in the stock, delicate traditional pasta, melting swordfish and a tiramisu that made me rethink what tiramisu was. Great service too - and chef also comes out to explain dishes. This was a breath of fresh air.

Ispirati dalla trasmissione di chef Borghese, in occasione di un magnifico weekend a Siracusa, abbiamo deciso di provare questo ristorante dove siamo stati magnificamente accolti dallo chef Maurizio che ha reso la nostra cena a dir poco magnifica!Piatti sublimi con materie prime di eccellente qualità e rese squisite dalla maestrai dello chef!Servizio impeccabile, cortese ed educato, sempre attento alle necessità dei clienti seppur mai troppo formale, né invadente.È stata un’esperienza davvero eccezionale che, personalmente, sento di consigliare a tutti, soprattutto se non lo avete ancora provato.Grande Chef!

Would not recommend eating here as a tourist/if you want to have a slow dining experience. We felt very hurried. Primi and secondi courses came right after each other, without any in-between time. I think all in all, both courses arrived within 35 min - with 3/4 of our bottle of wine still being full.Food-wise I also wish to note that the price-quality ratio is fairly off (especially compared to other and better restaurants we visited throughout Sicily and Siracusa). To exemplify, for a tagliata priced at 28€ you may expect the meat to be perfectly cooked and seasoned - which it sadly was not. For the sake of clarity: a small portion at 28€ very well be justified and I do not mind paying more for good food by all means, but then one may reasonably expect more quality-wise.All in all, a dissapointing experience - which was a shame given the friendly staff.

Everything was sensational. The chef personally takes care of every guest, explaining food composition. Creative interpretation and the wine recommendations were a great match. Highly recommended.

Wonderful restaurant, great wine recommendation. Wish I tried the tasting menu in hindsight, the nutty salad starter was delicious. Nice atmosphere, would visit again.

Alzo le mani, questo non è un ristorante questo è un universo parallelo. Lo chef è un personaggio ricco di cultura, che spiega assiste e valorizza i suoi piatti raccontando la specialità. Il personale è attentissimo, non c'è un momento in cui non ti senti guidato, assistito e coccolato. Ci stanno i pareri negativi si dice che ad accontentare un comune nessun sindaco né è capace" ma io ho visto solo altissima qualità
