Villa d'Este House - casa vacanze

Spent a few nights in this apartment to discover Tivoli and enjoyed my stay very much. The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk from the main tourist spots and from some great restaurants. The apartment is family managed and very homey, Matteo and his brother were very welcoming and attentive. Highly recommended!

Wow! Of the 20+ rentals I’ve stayed in over the past 5 years while traveling, this is my favorite by a mile! My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in late April during our honeymoon. The location is unbeatable - right in the historic center of town, with a 5 minute walk to the entrance to Villa Gregoriana in one direction, and a 7 minute walk to Villa d’Este in the other direction. 10 minute easy walk to the train station. This is absolutely the best location in town to walk everywhere but it’s not touristy whatsoever.Matteo speaks excellent English and was so thoughtful in giving us a map and some restaurant recs. The apartment blew me away, it is even more beautiful than the pictures. Very comfortable, with both heat and AC, and two balconies with shutters to let in the breeze and sun. The bed was extremely comfortable. We loved having breakfast every morning on the large balcony from Bar Castorani, they have one of the best chocolate pastries I’ve ever eaten. We just cannot wait to return!
