Buying a train ticket was so frustrating here. There are two machines, and a bunch of pass card scanners. One barely noticeable on a wall and another bright red TrenItalia machine. I was trying to buy the local regional train ticket on the red machine and it just wouldn’t let me. After struggling with all options for 20 min, I missed the train, had to run to the platform 2 going up and down the stairs, not that I had a the right ticket at the first place which is only €1.50. Then I went back and saw a lady using a tiny screen on the wall. She helped me get the regional ticket finally. There’s no one at this train station. No one helping you or selling tickets, even the locals passerby are clueless. Only two machines! Only one entrance that you have to walk around the building and enter from the platform side. At least there’s a clean WC. Give yourself a lot of extra time when you need to use this station to buy tickets.
